What a beautiful and magical place. We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The setting is beautiful and the yurt and bathtub were so cozy. We felt refreshed and replenished after our weekend stay.
Magical, peaceful, intentional
We loved our stay here! The yurt and tub provided a peaceful getaway under the stars. We loved the comfy bed! The tub is magical. The space is very cute and clean! A lot of thought and intention was put into the space and it was much appreciated. There is a very clean bathroom with running water and a flushing toilet. The land is stunning, there is plenty to do near camp and the surrounding areas. Very far from the closest town, so be sure to make sure you have what you need before you arrive for your camping getaway. We were able to get my 2003 Honda Civic up the hill, but it wasn’t easy…I would HIGHLY recommend something a little more rugged. I 100% recommend this place. It is me and my partners favorite Hipcamp yet! We will be back :)
Second time staying at Shangri-La! Such a beautiful and peaceful location, close to the river. Enjoyed our stay at the Green Yurt - the soaking tub and the interior of the Yurt were clean and perfect for a relaxing in the woods :) Andrea was a wonderful host with great communication pre, during and post trip. Recommend!
Serene and peaceful. We went midweek and were the only ones at the site! 4WD was a great suggestion and I enjoyed the rides back and forth almost as much as relaxing in the tub :) .
Dont forget that it it's in the woods so bring ur bugspray or zapper.. bugs weren't bad though, just when eating. If we do it again i will bring a pop up net for peaceful meals since you shouldn't eat in the yurt.
