This was such a fun weekend! Perfect for kids. They played on the playground, did art in the art shed, snuggled the cats, helped feed the animals, did a pony ride. And that left me to read. I read more of my book in one day than I have in 6 months.

Christine and her family were very welcoming and helpful :)

This campsite has everything you need and more. They have showers, outdoor kitchen, toilet, reading barn, etc.

I personally just was not a fan of the rooster battles every morning from 5-7AM & the kitten crawling between my tent and my rain fly all night.

A middle of the road stay for me, but my brother who camped with me said it was his personal favorite. He sleeps like a rock. If you sleep hard this place is perfect. If you don’t, be prepared for a 5 AM start to the day.

This farm is a wonderful place for families with kids. My children (8 and 6 years old) and their friend (5 years old) did enjoy everything there - feeding animals, riding a pony and horse, picking up eggs, milking goat, play equipment such as a trampoline, slide, and swing, art wagon etc.

This farm has a fully equipped kitchen with gas stoves including propane tank. It was convenienet that we didn't have to take cooking gear. As mattresses were installed in the camp wagon, there was no need to bring air mattresses. Just sleeping bags were enough. Breakfast was provided on Saturday morning - it was really tasty!

It was unfortunate that it was rainy from the morning to early afternoon on Saturday. Nevertheless, we truly enjoyed staying there thanks to hospitality by David, Christine, and their daughter.

Rusty Hill Farm has a laid back artsy vibe great for kids, with many different animals, an art trailer, a reading nook wagon, and optional add-on horse rides. My daughter especially enjoyed the super-friendly farm cats and dogs, and I enjoyed the fresh produce welcome basket and "help yourself" access to fresh eggs from the coop.

My son and I had such a great time on the farm! We were super comfy in the vintage trailer and had a blast exploring all of the fun things to do. Dave was a STELLAR guide with my son, leading him through the daily animal chores and teaching him little tidbits along the way. My son really loved it!! Thanks Dave and Christine for creating such a perfect, family friendly getaway!
