Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful, scenic landscapes of the river can be found throughout the area. Clean restrooms and showers. Everything we needed from carts to propane tanks were provided. Our host, Aaron was very informative, responsive and accommodating throughout our trip. My family and I would definitely visit again!

Found a perfect rock to sit on and read a book with this amazing viewThe kids added some moss to the top of this sign and gave it a new name. Hilltop Harry.

The river is a beautiful spot, set up with a canopy, propane fire pit, and steps from the river. Curt the groundskeeper was great and very helpful. Clean facilities. We had an excellent time. Would go back.

We stayed at site “River” over the weekend and had so much fun just relaxing and enjoying the river.

The site itself came with canopy which we were incredibly grateful for. It was also conveniently a few steps away from the public “beach/river” which we loved.

Since it’s tucked in close to the river, this meant we could not drive our truck into the site to unload. Fortunately, there were 2 wagons specifically placed there for our use. We made about 4 trips from truck to camp, the walk itself was about 2-3 minutes. This really made me rethink my “portable” camping gears for future trips.

We also appreciated how clean the restrooms and showers were. Curt, the grounds keeper was super helpful and always responded to our text messages. Looking around the other camp sites, I can tell this place is neatly maintained and cared for. My husband and I plan on returning next year again for our annual camping trip.

Me and my partner decided to go tent camping for our first time and the cove was a perfect first time experience! Showers and restrooms were easily accessible and well kept. Running water and wagons are provided to unload and load up your things. Plus, you have easy river access! Next time we will do some of the water activity services provided by a service company nextdoor to right near "The Cove". Lastly, all the other campers were nice and Kurt, the groundskeeper, was very helpful with getting us settled in. Kurt even helped us pitch our tent at 9pm at night. We learned the importance of arriving when there's still ample light out.

With that, we will be back for sure. Next time for more than a couple of days and we would recommend "The Cove" to our friends and family.

We stayed at the River Site and loved it. Dipping in the river to cool off on a hot day and then Falling asleep to the sound of the river was amazing. We had a great time and the campground was very clean. Would recommend this and plan to come back again.!

The Cove was an unexpected treat! I almost don't want to review this spot because it is such a hidden gem! The spot is about 50 feet away from a beach shared with the other campsites but the actual site is surrounded by trees so there is much more privacy than we had anticipated! There is a small propane firepit but you will want to bring a charcoal stove to cook on (ask the owners first tho- fire is real in this area!) and there is a large canopy to help with shade in hot summer months. The river/ beach area is really lovely and well maintained, and the camp has way more facilities than we expected (showers, bathrooms, great grounds). We will be adding this campground to our annual trips!

We stayed at the “River” site and it was a great location with a canopy for extra shade, a flat spot for our tent and a propane fire ring for that camping ambiance. The River is right on the river, with a small beach and swimming area protected from the current. A great location and accommodating host.
