Hello! Your campsite is located in a beautiful and very special bit of the Padres Forrest. We're at about 3500 feet in elevation and the property is mostly raw, chaparral landscape; sagebrush, mustard, juniper, manzanita, cottonwoods, and a small pear orchard. There is no electricity, wifi, or running water. We welcome campers with tents, vans, small RV's. We're on the property and can provide an "informational tour about the property and the valley", walkie talkies, and some supplies if needed. But there's 87 acres so lots of room that's designated for you to enjoy. Please be comfortable and enjoy the quiet and introspective experience that only nature can provide. Pets are welcome as long as they stay close to you, there are lots of other animals that have their instincts that could be dangerous...for your safety too.

Tons of hiking trails around, you are near Pine Mountain. About 15 minutes up the road is a great restaurant called The Place. We get their burgers and fries and sometimes pie. New Cuyama is about 30 minutes away, and Frazier Park is about 45.

This property was home to Pop's cafe in the 1920's. We think he lived in a back room on a cot that we've refurbished and can be used during your stay. The middle room was a kitchen and the front a speakeasy/poker room. Years later this land was home to a turkey and pig farmer that heated his animals with propane heaters. Those heaters are still on the back corner of the property and amazing relics are farming. We have 1 pig named Truffles. You can bring her food scraps and she might let you pet her. Next it was owned by a family that built a house near the road and planted an apple and pear orchard. But not much happened in about 30 years later. The trees and the house were abandoned. And finally, we came. In 2019 there was a lightning storm and the house was struck. Although the full building was lost there are amazing littles treasures we recovered. As we're working on the farm we'll find a burnt page from the library or a seashell. We hope you find this property a nice place to stay and be in nature and that your experience is restoring and peaceful.
