***COVID-19 INFO***

Warm greetings to you from our piece of paradise! This is still a new reality we are all getting used to, please be kind and mindful while at the camp and adventuring in the area, respecting other’s space and maintaining the safe distance. We truly appreciate your understanding.

We understand the concerns around the virus and would like to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure a safe, relaxing environment for all our guests and staff:

  • All restrooms are cleaned several times a day and all surfaces are disinfected. Please note, to ensure that social distancing guidelines are followed, our restrooms are closed to guests staying in their own RVs. Our public restrooms are only available to guests staying at tent sites, in our rental campers, or in vans/small trailers without a bathroom.
  • Hand soaps, sanitizers, and disinfectants are available in all common areas for regular use.
  • The face masks are not required outdoors but we will still ask you to wear them inside our public restrooms, except when taking a shower or washing your face. Please come prepared.
  • Please be respectful of the maximum occupancy, as stated in the listing. Infants, children, and adults all count as one.
  • Consider getting all your supplies before coming to our community.

Now more than ever it is important to spend time connecting in the great outdoors and are ready to share campfires, starry nights, and our serene area with you. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. It is a place where social distancing happens naturally. This is a great opportunity to be together in Nature and not to be isolated at home. Together (from a safe distance) we will remain healthy, positive, and strong!

Please read through the entire listing to find out more about this tent site and our camp. Can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your adventures in the Sierra.

We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our home. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

This Paradise Shores Tent Camping site (T4) offers unrestricted views of the Sawtooth Mountain Range and Bridgeport Reservoir (extra mayflies exposure included ;-)). With that, you'll be getting the best spot to admire our beautiful Eastern Sierra sunsets.

The site is located close to our Sierra Stream rental and comes with a space for 1-2 small backpacking tents and parking spot for one car (please note, there's NO overflow parking available when camping at this site, plan accordingly). This spot is TENT CAMPING ONLY and is NOT SUITABLE for car camping, camper vans, rooftop tents etc. Please check availability at our Tent & Van Camping Site or message us to be added onto a waiting list.

This tent camping site is fairly exposed, so please bear in mind you won't have much cover from the wind, but it does come with a palapa style umbrella for some shade protection and you're welcome to bring an extra shade tent/umbrella if you wish to. T4 site comes with a picnic table, fire pit, free WIFI and the access to our clean bathrooms.

We're a great fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet fellow travelers.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a campsite as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.

We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays).

Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!

Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us (we can accommodate up to two dogs here). With dog wash and dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here! Please note that the dog beach can be quite limited when the water level in the reservoir is high. When the water level is lower, it's plenty for walks, running around and playing with your pup.

We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.

Please note, we ask for 3 nights minimum stay throughout the season and 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend (we won't have arrivals or departures on July 3rd & 4th).

Enjoyed the site, helpful camp host and friendly camping neighbors. Great bathrooms & shower facilities too. However, was very disappointed that the “Lakeshore tent site” was maybe a mile from the water! That’s because of the current drought so had nothing to do with the campsite. Hopefully, the Fall rains will again fill the reservoir & the water activities will be available again. Wonderful to get away for a few days!

Quite nice. The bathrooms were clean, cute, and well stocked. The tent areas were flat, with some rocks nearby that you could choose to anchor your tent with. The communal kitchen area was clean and functional. Staff was pleasant. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

This was our second trip to Bridgeport but first time at Paradise Shores and we couldn’t have been more happy that we tried a new campsite. The RV park was very accommodating with amenities. I was not expecting the restroom + communal area to be so inviting! T4 was an ideal location for tent camping - great views + especially convenient if you’re traveling with your fur child as there is a dog beach at your front yard. Veronika was extremely helpful + communicative during the booking process leading up to arrival. Yet they respected our privacy and unfortunately I didn’t have the pleasant to meet in person. Mainly because my husband, pup + I were up at sunrise ready to explore the area thanks to some travel handbook the hosts provided! We will definitely be back to paradise shores for another camping trip. 10/10 recommend!

Was looking for a little getaway to do some hiking, reading and just hanging out with my dog. This spot was perfect! close to lots of different trails, and of course my dog loved going and splashing around in the water at the off leash dog beach.
Bathrooms were always clean, and it was nice to have a shower after being out hiking all day. The outdoor kitchen came in handy so I was able to wash my dishes after I was done cooking at the campsite.

This place will definitely be in my future travel plans!

Spent 3 wonderful nights camping at Lakeshore spot. This tent spot is further from other, so you have more privacy and there are no other tents around. And amazing lake views are all yours! This is my second visit, last time booked camper van and liked it so much that returned this year. Bathrooms are so clean and neat, shower hot and nice too, I didn't expect to have homey bathroom on the camp, but it was! And we even had wifi:) This was the best camping experience I ever had. Thank you for this place!

This site is set apart from the other tent sites and has the best view! The property owners have thought of everything! The site has a palapa, picnic table, fire pit and soft ground cover perfect for camping. They provided a welcome guide full ideas and tips for exploring the surrounding area via email prior to arrival. CLEAN communal bathrooms equipped with hygienic products and nice showers with good pressure and hot water. Extra towels for your trip to the hot springs upon request. And once again so clean!

We made great memories here and are already planning our next trip back! Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Definitely one of the best camping site I’ve ever seen. The views from this place are amazing (especially the sunrise and sunset). They have all amenities that you need. Everything was perfect. The long drive was definitely worth it for us and we will be back for sure. Also, the host are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it.
