***COVID-19 INFO***

Warm greetings to you from our piece of paradise! This is still a new reality we all are getting used to, please be kind and mindful while at the camp and adventuring in the area, respecting others’ space and maintaining the safe distance. We truly appreciate your flexibility and understanding.

We understand the concerns around the virus and would like to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure a safe, relaxing environment for all our guests and staff:

  • Hand soaps, sanitizers, and disinfectants are available in all common areas for regular use.
  • We recommend using the private bathroom facilities in your camper. Our public restrooms are closed to guests staying in their own RVs but will be available to guests staying in our rental campers, at tent sites or in camper vans / small trailers without a bathroom.
  • No need to check-in in person. Your welcome information, any latest updates, and check-in details will be emailed to you within a week prior to the arrival.

For everyone’s safety, we ask you to please:

  • Refrain from booking your stay if you’ve had exposure and message us to reschedule or cancel if you develop symptoms or test positive.
  • Please be respectful of the maximum occupancy in the rentals, as stated in the listing. Infants, children, and adults all count as one.
  • Starting June 15th, the face masks are not required outdoors. We will only ask you to wear them inside our public restrooms (if you would like to use them in addition to or instead of the private bathroom in your rental), except when taking a shower or washing your face. Please come prepared.
  • Please keep at least a 6 foot distance from anyone that isn’t in your traveling party, including other guests and PS team members.
  • Consider getting all your supplies before coming to our community.

Now more than ever it is important to spend time connecting in the great outdoors. We are excited to welcome you, and are ready to share campfires, starry nights, and our serene area with you. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. It is a place where social distancing happens naturally. This is a great opportunity to be together in Nature and not to be isolated at home. Together (from a safe distance) we will remain healthy, positive, and strong!

Please read through the entire listing to find out more about Cape Cod Camper and our camp. Can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your adventures in the Sierra!

We've put a lot of love and thought into finishing this camper and now it gives us a great joy to share it with you. We took some old barn wood and built a deck with a commanding view of the lake and the whole camp. There's no pretense at the Cape, it just feels right and everybody fits, well, at least three of you will! And there's free lemonade in the office. It’s Miller time! ;-)

Our Cape Cod Camper is super comfortable & sleeps up to three people. The bedroom has a queen for two, down comforter included. The living room area has a day bed, perfect to lay about and read, or for one to sleep in. Kitchenware, as well as coffee maker, toaster, paper towels etc. are all provided. Wifi access, outdoor area with fireplace and barbecue, and a cooling system are all part of the rental. We also provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling, and you can buy locally grown firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered.

The rate includes space rent, propane, wifi, parking spot for one car as well as 12% Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). We can also accommodate an extra car, if needed, in our overflow parking. Please message us prior to booking with dates you're hoping to stay with us, so we can enable the "Extra Vehicle Fee" option for you.

We're a husband and wife team and this is our adopted home - a small RV Park & Campground located directly on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, we offer a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.

We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guest to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you're welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays). We're the best fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet others.

Please note that we've had a modest snow pack this winter, which will translate to the lower water level in the reservoir that typically decreases later in the summer anyway. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!

We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.

Please note, our minimum stay requirements in the Cape camper varies through the season, based on remaining available dates and our enhanced cleaning schedule.

Occasionally, we relax the minimum at short notice (within a week or so prior to the date) and based on availability, please ask.

Great stay! The camper had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. Great view of the mountains from our doorstep. Veronika and family have created lovely hang out spots including a group kitchen area (with sandbox nearby for kids) and fire ring. Easy to walk to the reservoir too.

It was like being at home. The Cape was super cute! It was clean & well appointed with what you need to cook a breakfast, lunch, or dinner(except for the food of course). The fridge & freezer worked very well. It was a nice touch to give us our 1st bundle of coal for the BBQ at no charge. The communications with Veronika were outstanding!! There is a little book in the trailer that details out so much about the trailer & has suggestions on where to eat, where to visit. It was nice to chat with Alan on our arrival day & a few times during our stay. The view here is astonishing. Gorgeous views of the mountain & lake. They have a couple SUP boards, a couple kayaks, & a peddle-boat all at no extra charge. We enjoyed cruising around the lake on the peddle-boat & my wife loved kayaking. It is a 100% positive experience.

Super cozy camper! We enjoyed some restful nights here and during the day it was a comfortable place to relax. As advertised it had everything we needed. All we had to bring was clothes, toiletries and food. From here we made a short day trip (3 miles) to Travertine hot springs, and enjoyed some gorgeous views. It was a bit too warm out to enjoy any of the springs, but I imagine spring and fall time would be perfect for it. Veronika and Alan, were both attentive and helpful hosts. I would absolutely stay again.

Veronika was a wonderful host! She was great and easy to communicate with, and Paradise Shores was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located to explore and enjoy the magical East side.
We stayed in the Cape Cod camper which was adorable and had everything we could need. The bed was so comfortable! Veronika and crew went out of their way to make sure we had the perfect stay!
