If you're looking for a glamping style adventure stay at Namaste Farms Working Sheep Farm, "The Treehouse." Situated on top of old growth Redwood stumps, this tiny treehouse is ornately built with stained glass windows and a suspended truck bed patio. The private detached outdoor shower and bathroom complete the rustic appearance and give "The Treehouse "an authentic glamping style feel. Please read the detailed description to make sure this is the appropriate adventure for you!The Treehouse is an amazing work of craftsmanship and is truly a glamping adventure. This space is tiny and the interior of the space is only large enough for an ornately decorated full size bed with the canopy.
On the outside of the treehouse is a completely covered truck bed which has a table and chairs from which to view the farm. You can sit outside and chat, eat, or just watch the animals wandering about. You may even have some of birds visit because they often nest inside the truck cab! Please know, there is no air conditioning or heat but there is a vintage fan which is pretty powerful. Both doors to the inside of the treehouse may be opened and it is actually very comfortable except on the hottest of days.
Temecula does cool off at night and it's so enjoyable to sit outside on the patio. This Treehouse experience is in the heart of Temecula's Wine Country on a true working sheep farm, this is the place for you. Please read the rest of the information so you know what idiosyncrasies to expect during your stay.
NOTE: Namaste Farms is a true working farm with copious amounts of sheep, goats, chickens, peafowl, and countless other animals. Along with those, we have free range squirrels, rabbits, flies, dust and yes, even free range spiders. If you're wanting a rustic experience that gives you a break from city life and you can handle dust, dirt, cobwebs (and these can happen over night inside your cottage and WILL be in the common areas), with sounds of animals vocalizing at all hours of the day and night, then Namaste Farms is a perfect fit for you. While most guests (and your hosts) see the idiosyncrasies and obvious cohabitation with animals and bugs beautiful, you may not. If your primary focus is on amenities, and you're looking for a completely dust/dirt, cobweb/bug, and animal/animal sound free experience, a working farm is probably not a good fit for you.. We are dog friendly, but to keep our free range animals safe (and we have had them injured or killed by people not recognizing that dogs are predatory by nature), please keep your dog easily under control and on a short leash at all times. Also, because it's not possible to control your dog on a long line, dogs may NOT be tied or tethered anywhere on the property. Further, do not leave your dog alone unless they are crate trained and in a crate. Beyond this, please understand, barking upsets the animals and other guests so we ask that you keep your dog from barking. If you want to let your dog off leash, about 2 blocks down the dirt road (off property), there is a large scrub field where you can let your dog run free. Know, you're supporting a 501c3 charity and all the revenue goes to support the animals. This booking is for the Treehouse, and while it's only 1/2 a mile from the city limits, it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries and most of the major equestrian facilities including Galway Downs, Green Acres, and California Ranch Company. For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs and California Ranch Company. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. At night, enjoy the sounds of serenity. The Treehouse is a glamping adventure which means it's the equivalent of "glamorous camping." The bathroom and shower are detached and accessible via a small deck.We encourage guests to feel at home and enjoy the peaceful farm environment which extends beyond the cottage. If you have more guests in your group, please check out the Main Cottage, the Hay Barn cottage and Hammie in a separate listing. Please keep in mind that we are not a "pretend farm" set up so that we can attract people to our facility. This is an actual working farm where shepherdess, Natalie Redding (Nat Geo Wild's, Shear Madness) and her working dogs, Lacey, Lad and Nesta work every day. This means there is dirt, dust, chickens, peacocks, alfalfa, sheep, bugs, and other living beings associated with nature and farm life. People who've not had the opportunity to experience the beautiful and grounding life on a working farm may not understand this. I do stress that if you're an animal lover who is excited about staying at a true working farm, your co-guests may not share your verve. Please let them know there is dirt, dust, very little concrete or pavement, and they will surely leave with dust on their shoes. That said, I'm a frequent Louboutin wearer and I regularly chassé in my stilettos; dirt ground and all.We welcome you and hope you choose to stay with us.
If you're looking for a wedding venue, for a very reasonable price (1/3-1/2 less than other facilities), you can rent our facility for your own "Farm Wedding." Interested in renting Namaste Farms for a Farm/Barn/Ranch Wedding or simply an outdoor party Venue?" We want you here!

Namaste farms has my heart! The grounds and all the animals were so lovely and the treehouse was everything we hoped! Sean helped us out with amazing recommendations for what to do in Temecula that really made our trip 10/10! Now I want to stay in all the other adorable places on the property!
New cat friends!
Amazing escape!! While simultaneously rejuvenating and relaxing, the tree house and sheep farm is a great place to spend a few days ‘away’ from everything. We met the owner(s) and they were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Thank you for letting us stay there, Sean, we appreciate it endlessly and expect to see you sometime soon.
Animal lovers rejoice!
Namaste Farms is a very nice place to stay. Natalie is quite clear in her description that this is a real, working farm. Yes, there are animals everywhere. And yes, they make their noises and do their animal things. It's awesome. If you love being around animals, this is a fantastic place to stay.
The treehouse is a tight fit. If you're really tall of very fat, it's going to be a challenge. But oh my is it charming. The treehouse is well-decorated and nicely stocked with robes and linens and coffee/tea and beautiful lighting and oh my, it feels other-worldly. We absolutely loved it.
The animals that surround you are all very well treated. So when they see a human, they're keen to interact. Tiny sheep will poke their snouts through the fence and give you a little lick. Ducks and bunnies and mini horses and mini cows and goats and turkeys will come to you as if you are their savior. It's truly beautiful.
And if you find Sean (or Shawn?), the farm dude, he will give you the ins and outs of the local area. Whatever you want to do, he's done it and can guide you to your place. He's very laid back. If you lived nearby, you would totally hang out with this dude.
Bottom line: if you love animals you will love this place. We're going back. We'll probably try different accommodations to be closer to the animals, but all of the spots are really well done. You'll be surprised how expertly they are decorated and how clean everything is despite the warnings of being a working farm.
Such a nice time. Good people. Friendly animals. Beautiful sounds of nature. Awesome. If you're not a whiner or a weenie, you'll love it.
Really fun unique stay! The tree house has so many cool little touches and the balcony is a great place to sit and drink coffee in the morning. The inside is very tight and just fits the bed so don’t bring too many bags inside, and bring earplugs - the roosters are very loud at the early hours of the morning. There is a cool outdoor shower and sink / bathroom downstairs from the tree house.
Legit farm vibes. high vibe.
Incredible spot. Really goes off at dusk with all the animals and gentle breeze through the trees. Lots to look at and engage with, and tons of options nearby for food and entertainment. Wineries galore.
Very fun experience!
Staying here was absolutely what I imagined it would be like! Glamping on a farm filled with beautiful animals. I brought my 9 year old son for his birthday, and he loved it! We were able to have s'mores at night as well with a bonfire on sight. Natalie was a sweetheart and was very attentive during the stay. If you love glamping, and animals I recommend this stay 1000% I can't wait to come back and book a different stay on the barn!
Had such an amazing stay in the treehouse! It was Excellent hosts, beautiful place, and such fun to see this working farm in action. The Mini ponies are incredible- what a truly unique, authentic and unforgettable experience. Would love to come back.
