Loved the location in the forest! Check-in was easy and friendly. Staff even gave our daughter a container and net to go exploring in the streams around the property. Duplex 43 & 44 was a great location because you could pull in and unload/load your cars easily before parking them in the basketball court. Plus this duplex was a very short walk to the bathrooms. The cabins were rustic but offered a fireplace and nice balcony with view. When lit properly, the fireplace really warmed up the cabin. We liked how the cabin reservation came with a box of firewood per unit. Be prepared for mosquitos, they were abundant! The bathroom facilities were well stocked and clean. We liked how there was electricity available at the bathroom facilities for hair dryers and charging phones/batteries.
Amazing camp ground. Beautifully situated in the redwoods with great mountain biking, hiking and swim holes. The cleanest campground I’ve ever seen immaculate bathrooms not a single cobweb in the cabins absolutely beautiful
Amazing place. Tucked into a peaceful forest, close to a wonderful river, and not far from the coast. Cabins are in good shape and a nice change from tents. It’s quiet, and there’s so much to explore!
