This spot was beautiful! We loved the view of the valley, the soft sounds of horses nearby, and the gorgeous oak tree. Easy access to supermarkets and hikes. Nice bathroom with hot water.

Camping with kids
We stayed at Maverick Hill Ranch for one night with our kids and it was great! Valerie was warm and welcoming and gave us a full tour of the ranch. We opted in for the kids to meet the horses and cows up close and Valerie was absolutely wonderful in allowing them to feed and groom the animals. It was a fun experience for my two young kids. The camping site was a little smaller than I expected, but it fit our 4-person tent just fine with space for a fit pit. The views are awesome and Valerie’s communication was prompt and clear. We would definitely go back.

Moonrise magic
Beautiful property with an amazing almost 360 degree sunset view. We even got to see the moonrise under the cows. Highly recommend checking moonrise times if you stay there. All of the animals were friendly and sweet, even the cats (and I’m not a fan of cats). The bathroom with shower and electricity really makes this Hipcamp stand out compared to many others. Hosts are warm and welcoming. Would’ve liked to stay longer.

Well oddly enough , due to an outbreak of Covid at my farm in Loomis I didn't get to stay a Valerie's but she was very concerned about me and sympathetic of what I was going through. I felt her to be genuine and am sorry I missed the chance to stay at her camp.

Under the stars
The views at night are amazing here! The stars are so bright. We saw about 5 shooting stars in one night. The sunset is great. The dogs and cats are friendly! Valerie has a great place here.
