Great spot for a quick overnight. Clean bathrooms, near the river with lots of soft grass and bird song. There is a river nearby and across it is some sort of generator that runs all night (water pump? Barn fan?) so it’s not perfectly silent, but it was very nice for our needs. Would definitely stay again!
We loved this place. It really is a nice meadow with picnic tables and a central fire pit. Very spacious and you are allowed to spread out. I recommend speaking to Sue before you arrive and when you get there. She’s GREAT at remembering you and your reservation if you call ahead ! She shares a ton of helpful information. And gave us an update on promising improvements of the property. It’s nice to be able to roam a good distance and feel comfortable about returning to your campground. We took a trail down to the river and sat there on an almost private beach. And this was where we fished !!!
The restaurant is closed now but you can look about the property. Please do not disturb the long term residents. But please say hi if you meet them ! Met a real nice guy from Alaska ! Walk to the restaurants stage / patio area and you will be treated with neat boating equipment and a lovely view. There a picnic table there where u can have lunch or just chill.
Also its pretty close to Colusa ! So you can visit there and return to your spot.

Sue was extremely friendly and helpful in showing me where to park my camper van. In the meadow - not close to others - it was relaxing and peaceful.
Great location few miles downriver
Great location a few miles downriver of Colusa. Good basic electric and restrooms for a truck camper. Sue helped meet us late after we had travel troubles on the way there.
Good level spot adjacent to a large open field. A bit of a hike down to the bathroom, but not bad.
Lovey’s was just what we were looking for! We stayed one night in the extra field, perfect resting spot on our trip south. Sue was very helpful and guided us in.
If you are in a big rig I suggest you come in from the south, makes an easier entry turn.
No drinking water & the shower and bathroom water smelled heavy of sulfur. But besides that had great experience
Nice overnight stop near sacramento
We parked here overnight to break up a long drive up the California coast. Our host was very kind and welcoming, our site was grassy but level, and we felt perfectly safe on the premises. Would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity!
