Must-stay and play!
Wow. Just wow! This was our favorite stop on our honeymoon roadtrip. Gina was the best host. She talked to us about the property and gave us eggs and was so friendly. Our dog loved playing in the river and watching the chickens. We are trying to plan our next trip back. It's a must-stay!
We had an absolute blast at the Tree House! We thought it was actually going to be more camping than "visiting" but they really thought of everything. We had Folgers coffee and a coffee maker the guests left for us, with farm fresh eggs with every breakfast! We didn't get to meet Gina unfortunately but Ron took great care of us. We live just 5 hours away in Portland and he sent us home with a ton of fresh veggies and tomatoes.
The property is really soothing. We felt very relaxed and safe our entire stay. It's super easy to find even without GPS but ours did work the entire trip through the mountains. This was a quick stay-cation for us that turned out to be more of a getaway than most longer vacations we've had.
There is definitely river access and rapids to be had if that's your goal. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and put the internet down, I can guarantee the Tree House has plenty of that. :)
Highly recommended. We found out later they have another larger cabin for rent also. If you have a bigger tribe, that might be for you.
Charming treehouse cabin experience
Wow! This place is even better than the description and pictures. It’s located in a charming river valley with high desert mountain on either side, on a small family orchard, surrounded by lush greenery and pinion forest. The chickens on the well-groomed and wild-landscaped property are friendly and cute, and there are a few happy cats around. The cabin is ruggedly well appointed with hand hewn wood bed frame and wood ceiling, walls, and floor. The ceiling fan was a nice functional touch. And with two big windows and a glass door, there was plenty of natural light. The large deck built out around the treehouse cabin encompasses two large trees and is shaded by there canopies, and provides ample outdoor living space with amazing views of the property, riverfront, and mountains. This place is an absolute hidden gem, and the land has great energy and vibes all around. Our host, Ron, was welcoming and generous and very kind. He showed me around and welcomed me to eat from the orchard and otherwise live on the property as it were my own. It was easy and relaxing to fully settle into that landscape and comfortable cabin. I’d recommend this place to any kind hearted person.
It was absolutely amazing!! Ron (one of the people of the property who showed us around) was absolutely amazing!!! He showed us nothing but kindness and hospitality showing us his garden, goats and the sweetest puppies. P.s his garden has some amazing tomatoes, delicious garlic and juicy cantaloupes!! They have a gorgeous property next to the river it felt like our home away from home and we wish we could’ve spent more time there. Nothing but love for everyone there amazing property 10/10 recommended for anyone. But a side note you are pretty much camping so it’s not for anyone but nature lovers.
The best treehouse ever!
I absolutely loved this farm on the Klamath river. Our host was out of town so her brother greeted us. What a great hospitable man. Offered us fresh eggs, kale, tomatoes, garlic from the property. Gorgeous location, with great amenities. The compostable toilet, outdoor running water with sink, the propane stove with supplies, and bedroom were beyond my expectations. The river was so lovely, literally put out chairs in the water and relaxed soaking in the beauty.
Amazing treehouse stay!
The perfect treehouse cabin with everything you could possibly need right on your doorstep! The accommodation is simple but neat. The kitchen area is on the treehouse deck right outside the cabin. It includes running, potable water, a small fridge and freezer, and a two-burner camping stove with pans to cook basic meals. The compostable toilet is clean and easy to use and is the best camping toilet we've every encountered. It's also right on the deck!
The treehouse is located on Gina's property, which also includes chickens, roosters, and lots of wildlife all around.
What makes this place so special is the hosts and the river right outside the door. The hosts are wonderful people who are invested in making sure the trip goes as well as can be and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The river was cool, refreshing, and without a doubt, the highlight of the trip! Whether it was bathing in the river every morning, jumping in to cool off on a hot summer day, or floating down it and taking in all the natural beauty and wildlife that was there to enjoy.
Absolutely one of the best trips we've taken this year.
My dude and I were at the end of an 8 day roadtrip so you know that point where you’re low on supplies and patience and getting grumpy. I didn’t even know my dude liked camping so I hadn’t packed for that but he insisted that camping was better than air bnb. He wanted to sleep outside I wanted to sleep on a real bed. It was making for an interesting time as I had not packed accordingly. Gina made it so we didn’t have to compromise anymore. He could have as much time outside birb watching on the tree house patio as he wanted and at night we could sleep in the nice cozy bed with plenty of pillows. My man was grumpy and possessive after the long trip but Gina was patient and understanding with his attitude. Her hospitality was unmatched and I could tell she was passionate about her land and the animals and just wanted to share it with people. I loved that the treehouse was right in the heart of everything so I could interact with people and my man had plenty of chickens and other animals to watch and boss around. I think we both would have moved in if we could. We’ll definitely be back if Gina will have us after my man’s sass.
Also, my man is a cat.
Picturesque outdoor getaway
Gina and Joe are wonderful hosts. Their beautiful farm has an abundance of animals and wildlife, plus amazing river access. The treehouse, outdoor kitchen, and compact toilet setup was very clean. We felt so comfortable and relaxed.
