This was a nice stop on my trip. Amir is very nice and hospitable. There is a toilet, kitchen and shower available and he hosts a camp fire to meet the other campers. There is also a very cool meditation space that is a unique experience.
What a unique and relaxing place to stay! Amir was a wonderful host. This drive in site is a bit farther from the “main site” area with the toilet and kitchen area but very walkable. We sat around the small fire and sang together with the other campers. It was quiet and serene. We loved the outdoor shower, the pool, the artful architecture of the structures. He is a very talented massage therapist in Switzerland so if you have the time and cash take him up on that, yoga, and a sound bath. Book two nights here- you won’t regret it
We had a peaceful night at a beautiful spot under the stars. The I-5 freeway is within easy reach, but we felt like we were deep in the woods. We camped at the drive-in site, but we saw Amir's other sites and they all looked great. I would like to return and stay for a few days just to relax and take in the views.
A lovely stay at zome village!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Zome Village! Amir is a very friendly host who immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome on his beautiful and rugged 40 acre property on the California-Oregon border. We stayed at the drive-in camp site, which was perfect for our needs — a private site away from the main camp, a place to enjoy nature and forget about the rest of the world. The main camp (about a 7 minute walk away from our site) has a restroom with running water, an above ground pool, outdoor kitchen, shower, and fire pit we could access. We were the only campers the day we visited. When we arrived, Amir showed us around his property and invited us to enjoy the silence of the large Zome (a sacred meditation space he built) for a few minutes. Definitely say yes if he offers the same to you — it was a lovely transition from our road trip to get into “nature mode.” We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we venture up north. I highly recommend!
amir was such a great host. i just needed a place to sleep on my drive up to seattle from san francisco and i’m so glad that amir shares his home with people. it was such a peaceful place to stop and rest and be present in nature and getting to meditate in the zome was refreshing and healing. i will definitely make this my go to stop on my bay to seattle and back adventures.
Peaceful spot close to i5
Peaceful spot with a great view. Close to i5, but felt like a retreat. Amir was really friendly and helpful with directions. We really enjoyed seeing the Zome. The road is unpaved and a bit bumpy, but we had no problems getting our tall sprinter van back there. Will definitely stop here again the next time we're on i5.
Awesome place, Awesome host and Awesome price! We didnt have much time ( showed up late and had to leave early) but Amir is awesome, waited up a
To show me around when we finally got there, its a super relaxing spot with an insane amount of stars , and good vibes all around, will be visiting again!
