Great place for families and pets. Fellow campers and surrounding neighbors were all really nice. We do our part to pick up any and all litter we see and unfortunately there was some that was there before us. Leave it better than when you came :)
Caught a small bass and a few bluegill for fun with worms too. Bathrooms were super clean and sites were well organized. Don’t go if you can’t handle 20 mins of narrow winding roads and a wooden bridge!
This was our first time here and we reserved 3 sites for multi family use. Had a great time and really enjoyed the lake. We appreciate the clean bathrooms. Thank you very much for the daily upkeep.
This place is a gem, it really is. And T-14 is the best spot I feel like. Your on the water and you have a great distance away from other campers. So if you have a dog that may get a bit anxiety being around other animals T-14 is the spot. You get occasional hiker that walk by, but thats about it. Dont forget to eat at Franks diner. Unfortunately, we went during the week so breakfast wasnt an option, but lunch and dinner was.
So beautiful. I loved this little gem. My site did have a flat-ish spot for my tent, and the bullfrogs didn’t keep me up (but everyone else I talked to said they did, so pack earplugs). It was well kept and felt very safe and the volunteers/staff were helpful and kind.
The water was delightfully warm to swim in!
