Tranquil and serene farm stay
We loved our stay at Goose Nest with its sunny mornings filled with birdsong, tranquil afternoons to gaze at the rolling hills or read a book, perfect fire pit for rustic cooking, the best sleep we've had in ages, and the mysterious, misty light in the morning that instills a peaceful awe. To decline the add-on focaccia, eggs, and meats would be a BIG mistake. Take advantage of the courtesy wake-up moos.
This was such a peaceful place to stay! The campsite was private, and everyone was really friendly. We could see the Milky Way at night and feel the sun hit the tent in the morning. Coyote song was the only noise that pierced my dreams, and in the morning I awoke to a symphony of birds. What a great stay, and the beef and focaccia were fantastic!
Beautiful camping near tomales
What a gorgeous campsite!!! We stayed for 2 nights with our children, a very peaceful spot on the bank of the Estero. Views were absolutely amazing and we saw a lot of beautiful birds. We would absolutely recommend the products the hosts sell. The focaccia was delicious, we made amazing beef tacos the first evening and a lovely creamy spaghetti alla carbonara with their fresh eggs and cheese from Valley Ford Creamery the second night. The town of Tomales is nearby for excellent fresh baguette from the bakery. Would absolutely recommend staying here!
We really enjoyed our stay at Goose Nest. Guido & Emily were perfect hosts and the campsite is very nice and tucked away by a little stream.
We were visited by a little green frog that hung out with us on our camp, we were able to watch the cows and cranes and spotted a little bunny too :D
Relaxing, private getaway
We really enjoyed how private and quiet the site was. It was nice waking up to the cows and birds. There was plenty of room to setup our large tent and for our 2 young boys to run around.
The sites are all spread out enough that you don't see the other people much and it feels very secluded.
The composting toilet was also very clean and sanitary.
