Access from the lodge to the campsites is a paved steep road 10' wide you would use to walk 300' to the nice tiled, campsite toilets, showers, sinks and laundry. You have access to the Guest Kitchen and it's outdoor grills and table games, and the Campfire Amphitheater. The June Bug Cafe has excellent fresh foods and considered one of the best of the region and you should turn up. The Yosemite Heath Spa is also a popular draw for guests and locals.

Stay at the bug!
I’m not sure what I was expecting but our stay here blew us all away! We camped up at the campsites at the top and it was so nice to fall asleep to the moon and wake up with a view of all the trees around us. Also major perk to get to use the spa/sauna at night ($15 per person) and eat at their delicious restaurant!
Great spot, about a 45 minute drive from Yosemite! The views from the upper lot were amazing and a great place to camp in our van for 2 nights. On-site facilities were clean, water stayed hot throughout the shower! Cute cafe area, foods a bit overpriced though. Staff was very friendly, would definitely go back.
Campground/event parking lot
I did not realize that the campground would also be used for event parking, and that those who attended the event would not be notified that it was a campground. This resulted in a lot of drunk people being loud when they got back to their car without regard for the campers staying there.
Great amenities! It's a great way to camp while enjoying glamping amenities. Clean and nice bathrooms, awesome kitchen space, and cafe has really good food and dessert.
The site was as advertised. The hill to get up to the parking lot for camping is VERY STEEP. There is no shade and a pit toilet that is well maintained. Down the hill there are flush toilet and free showers and a laundry room which was a plus! The WiFi at the lodge is great and we liked checking in there and ordering snacks.
Car Campers came and went throughout the night and that was bothersome, especially because they weren’t always quiet. This site is about an hour outside of the El Portal entrance to Yosemite and close to the Merced River rec area.
super cool place. There’s a spa and a cafe which are great. The communal cooking area is also great. The camping area is at the very top parking lot and is can be tiring to go up and down, especially after a day of hiking, so just be aware of that. The staff is really nice and helpful.
