Serenity Cabin is a handcrafted 2 bedroom, 600-square foot hand hewn beam cabin on a 200 acre eco-preserve.  Elegant in its simplicity it measures, 20 x 30 has covered porches on the front and back inviting relaxation amongst the trees. Arapaho meadow is in front with trailheads to wander across the private eco-preserve acres. It is our most private cabin and is 200 feet across the meadow from the other 3 cabins.

In winter it is preferred renters to this cabin have an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle, but necessary in summer.

A wood walkway boardwalk takes you across  Arapaho Meadow to the outhouse and guest bathroom with showers and flush toilets in the main house.

Across Arapaho meadow is where our Geronimo Cabin, Shamballa cabin and a third Trinity cabin reside.

The kitchen has a simple glamping style kitchen equipped with a slab countertop, featuring a stainless mini-refrigerator,  2 burner propane camp stove,  cookware, dishes, silver ware, and minimal other kitchen items. It does not have indoor plumbing. Showers and flush toilet at Bathhouse in main house. Clean 2 stall outhouse across the boardwalk and by the other cabins.

As of now it has 2 queen log beds is perfect for a couple with children, or 2 couples.

The cabin is heated with a windowed wood stove and will keep the cabin warm even in the coldest weather as long as it is resourced intelligently with firewood every hour or so.

Outside there is picnic table with a simple charcoal BBQ,  a fire pit and misc. chairs for family gathering. Water hose nearby for safety. In winter firewood provided inside with ample kindling.  Gather firewood used in the pit freely which is plentiful on the grounds or take cabin firewood at $20per pale . Fires allowed outside only when fire season is over so be safe and responsible.

Walking this 200 acre eco-preserve is exhilarating and harmonizing to body, mind and spirit. The land is inviting, private, and resides on a large developing Retreat Center. Surrounded by thousands of areas of the Tahoe National Forest and a mere 5 miles from Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park.

The Serenity Cabin was great! Perfect place to getaway with my bestie and dogs. Cute inside with a comfy couch, great dinning space, and cool kitchen. Good sized bedrooms too.
The privacy of the serenity cabin is great when you need some distance between you and other guests.
The guest bathroom and showers are nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Adam’s land & met some nice people there. Adam is a great host who gave us tips & also showed us the secret waterfall nearby. We’ll definitely go back to try different cabins in a different season!

I had a lovely weekend at Serenity cabin with my husband and our dog. Adam was incredibly responsive before and during our trip and helped us find plenty of nearby activities. Don't miss the gorgeous Bloody Run Creek waterfall! The land is beautiful and the cabin cozy, comfortable and well-maintained with everything we needed. The guest bathroom was an added bonus with hot shower, towels, soap, and shampoo (-and wifi!). We appreciated the perfect mix of camping and glamping. We can't wait to come back and hope to bring friends to fill up all the nearby cabins!

Exactly as advertised 😉 wonderful secluded cabin, not really "rustic" exactly as it has a propane stove and oven. But what an amazingly beautiful area. The hosts are good people and so easy to work with. I hope to be back!

A perfect retreat from the spin of the world right now. Quiet, peaceful - so tidy and well appointed. Beds were super cozy, kitchen is fun to cook in - The big gathering rough hewn wood table is perfect for…well, gathering :) The land is so fun to explore - lots of maps and resources avail to peruse. AND a fantastic bookshelf. You gotta be cool with doing the nature pee, and hoofing it across a sweet little meadow for the outhouse. Rustic, stylish, peace. Do it!
