Pitch your tent in one of the two rustic forested pull-in sites, or pack it in 600 yards along the edge of the field to the designated river tenting area within the cottonwoods, maples, willow and alders. Lots of nature to relax in and absorb here. All of the campsites are nestled in trees and quite private, at least 100 yards apart.

During your stay, you’ll have access to a fire pit, firewood, and a picnic table for enjoying your meals. Water is also available for washing but should be boiled before drinking. The property offers a short hike up a hill with an awesome view of the Salmon Valley, the city of Salmon Arm and a beautiful view of Mt Ida on the east side of the valley

My property is a landing field for hang gliders and Paragliders with approximately 4000 feet of elevation between launch and landing. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to watch people take flight during your stay.

A short 10-minute drive away is the town of Salmon Arm, situated on beautiful Shuswap Lake. Salmon Arm has a well-groomed and maintained “Canoe Beach” and park for public swimming and use. At the Wharf, you’ll be able to rent sea-doos for a day of fun on the water. And don’t forget to check out all of the delicious restaurants and cafes in Salmon Arm if you don’t feel like cooking one night.

Also close by is hiking on “Flyhills” crown land. It is steeply accessible by a trail from the campsite for the very enthusiastic or choose to drive on up to the snowmobile parking lot and hike the more gentle slopes from there.

Looking forward to hosting you soon! If you have any other questions, just ask!

Quiet, dark, and private. Great location. The accommodations were as expected and the host was responsive to questions. Enjoyed looking at the chickens and listening to their morning song. We certainly would like to revisit our next time through.

Ken and his family were very welcoming and helpful. We were just passing through and needed a place to set up our tent for the night, and this worked out perfectly. We fell asleep listening to the crickets and woke up to a rooster, with a chorus of coyotes at night.

Super quiet. It was conveniently close to the wedding we attended! Would be nice if all sites had an outhouse and picnic table nearby.
