We call our land a slice of Paradise or a breath of fresh air! We have over 14 acres of land most of it still being in Timber- you can view the entirety of it on our Trail that does the Perimeter of the property (Approx. 3 km and flagged with ribbon). You'll often see plenty of wildlife, Deer, Rabbits, Owls, Ravens, Eagles, occasionally the odd Black Bear, and some Large Cedar and Fir Old Growth Trees. We are located just 10 min North of beautiful Qualicum Beach, 8 min to Spider Lake, 35 min to Nanaimo, and 1 hour from Mt. Washington. We have Goats (Alvin, Simon, Chocolate, Bambi, and Tiny)! They are very friendly and when not in there pen they will be free ranging around the property, likely eating what they shouldn't be. This is a very family orientated place and we'd love to share our knowledge of this beautiful area with you. Kayaks and Guided Hikes are available for an additional cost.Pitch your tent by the pond and check out what this area has to offer. We have endless hiking, kayaking, and exploring to do. Spider Lake which is 8 minutes away from us offers great swimming, paddle boarding, and Kayaking (this Lake doesn't allow Motor Boats). We do rent Kayaks at an additional price as well as Guided Hikes. Horne Lake Caves is not far passed Spider Lake for the adventurous individual or a great experience for the family. Qualicum Beach is a short drive away which offers you Sandy Beaches, Paddle Board rentals, and some great food. Your composting toilet, Picnic Table, Fire Ring (None at the moment with the current fire ban), and water are located within walking distance. Mosquitos are flying about this time of year so we recommend you bring some bug spray with you. We live on the property and are more than happy to share our knowledge with you and if you have any questions in regards to our little oasis.

Allison's land was awesome! The outhouse is extra awesome, with a composting toilet and info about composting toilets! Their dog, Pine, is so friendly and protective of our kids after a very short time of knowing her! There is a lovely, very wooded trail on the property - vaste skies and great location!

Camping with the goats

Such a unique and amazing place ! Everything was really nice, area is clean and quiet, and we loved goats and Pine the dog ! So happy we choose this place and definetly coming back, while we are on the Island!

Sweet camp spot & hosts!

Our experience exceeded our expectations! The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful in getting us set up on their property. The tent spot and amenities were stellar + lots of furry friends (goats & dog Pine). Great base for climbing/hiking and exploring Horne lake.
