Welcome to Fruit Haven! We are located in Cawston, BC. Located 7 minutes from floating on the South Similkameen river for hours! You can also simply hang out on the beach. We are also 7 minutes from Barcelo Canyon where you can hike for hours or days. Restaurants, markets, and vineyards are all within walking distance. Located just 8kms South East of Keremeos, and 36km west of Osoyoos, Cawston is known as the Organic Farm Capital of Canada. Cawston has hot summers, cool nights and powerful winds. We are also close to several wineries! With the hot summers, cool nights and powerful winds, the wines made here burst with the taste of the Similkameen Valley, thanks to the small farms and winemakers that are dedicated to creating quality, award-winning wine. What WeThink Hip Camp is all about!

Wonderful Place! truly is like staying at a cool friends property. Daniel is a great host.and shared farm grown carrots and Rubarb with us! It’s obvious he cares about the food we all eat ! We are fairly self contained but had access to water very clean outhouse and super friendly chickens who hung out with us and our dogs until dust. Would stay again for sure !!!

Daniel is a lovely generous guy. His property offers some private camping spots that have water, power and a clean sawdust toilet. We had an enjoyable stay.

Thank you Daniel!

Great location! Just steps away from the Row Fourteen restaurant (be sure to plan for a least a few of your meals here along with the Klippers Marketplace which just down the road). Daniel directed us to a nice private spot near the entrance to the property and set us up with power (he had water available as well but we didn't need to use it). We really enjoyed our time here and plan for a return trip sometime soon.

A Little Slice of

I must say we absolutely loved our trip out to Daniel's farm. It was fairly easy to find given the big sign off the road that tells you where to turn off. On you way there you'll find a number of amazing fruit stands, wineries/cinderies and restaurants that are delicious. The Cafe on the corner you turn has some scrumptious breakfast food and coffee. We were greeted by Daniel almost as soon as we pulled into his driveway. The scene was very pretty. There were gardens, plants, chickens, pups and a cat. The smell was that of refreshing organic vegetables that we found very refreshing. Daniel was very cordial with us from start of our interactions to the very end. He showed us a couple different places we could place our tents and reasons we might choose one spot over another. In the end we chose a spot in the shade. Once we were set up we needed power which Daniel helped us get with one of his power cords. We had come down that way to see a few things but didn't know much about the area. Daniel was kind enough to make excellent suggestions on places to visit, place to float and also recommendations on food and drink. We were so very thankful for all of this because it made it easier to plan out our days and get the most out of our visit. In the end we were about to head out when Daniel was generous enough to share some of his very own cat grass. My two cats absolutely love it. I guess what I'm saying is, this is an fun and relaxing place to visit and just enjoy yourself. 😊

Beautiful property surrounded by amazing views. Clean drinking water and electrical port to charge electronics. Daniel was very nice and gave us lots of privacy. Just down the road is the river and it was so nice to cool off there and catch the sunset. Hope to be back !
