This is a hobby farm with sheep, mini goats, chickens, donkeys, dogs and cats. We grow berries, plumbs, cherries, nuts and wildflowers. Child-friendly and family-friendly environment. You can walk the labyrinth of forest trails nearby. There is beach 9 km from the farm. Lakes, rivers, waterfalls, provincial parks, caves, golf courses, children's playgrounds and country markets, all within less than an hour drive.
In Qualicum Beach, you will find amazing sandy beaches, picture-perfect views, world-class biking and hiking trails, salt-tinged ocean air, and the small-town charm of our communities. Seeing goats on a roof, exploring underground caves, strolling endless beaches at low tide, and walking among ancient old-growth forests are just some of the experiences you’ll be able to tell your friends about back home.
We have 3 tent, campervan or trailer sites available with a firepit, hose, and picnic table available for campers to use. Site 1 is suitable for a car or van or smaller campervan, not for large trailer.
Pets are welcome to sites 2 and 3 only! If you are bringing a pet, please ensure you add the $5 pet fee as an extra at the time of booking.
Campfires are permitted when there is no fire ban, firewood is available to purchase - add as an extra at the time of booking.

Such lovely hosts. Brought by a game for my kids to play, cleaned the outhouse every morning, and provided a hand washing station at the outhouse too! We loved the donkey, and the area we camped in was beautiful. Our friendly dog was totally at ease in our spot and very welcomed. Only things that were a surprise to us was that the camp grounds are not individually fenced (one is, but the one we stayed in had two tent spots) and there is a gun range next door so for a few hours on the Sunday it was quite loud. Otherwise a beautiful stay and so much fun. 💛

Dashwood Meadows was a beautiful stay in a quiet grassy meadow just next to the donkey pasture. Sarafina, the little donkey was a sweetheart of a distraction for our five year old daughter. There is a very clean compost toilet and water. Amanda and Marvin could not be more delightful hosts, this was a peaceful retreat for our family

A delightful place to stay. Pavel and Amanda are friendly and kind and have created a peaceful oasis. Meeting the animals was also a treat. I was only there for one night and I look forward to staying at Dashwood Meadows again soon.
We loved our stay! We felt so welcomed and enjoyed all the animals that were around. The space we camped on was so perfect, especially with an enclosed fence for our dog. The bathroom facility was so clean and there was a little hand washing station as well, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back!
The campsite was wonderful, it was amazing to see and hear all the animals. The place felt very welcoming and friendly.
