Boreal Forest Gardens and Camping

Boreal Gardens/ Symbols lodge is a Boutique Farm in Charlie Lake BC on 4.5 acres. 

Featuring an integrated ecosystem Food Forest…Bringing together Indigenous approaches to agriculture by working with what exists with permaculture design that mimics patterns found in nature. It is a conscious way to connect and maintain food production systems that have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural seasons. It integrates artistic cultural landscapes using sacred geometric designs principles to build boreal forest gardens. Currently, the property has a 2600 sq ft main log house and 20x20 art studio, 13 Hugelkulturs, several raised beds, two 30x40ft gardens, a 20x20 ft greenhouses.

A new feature will be a 26 sq ft growing dome to be built along with 2 x100ft hoop houses. Sacred geometric spiral designs shaped gardens spaces to grow berries along with sweetgrass and wildflowers. Campers can pitch a tent around the property!
