The most excellent burner-friendly, arty camping spot. It’s a bit hard to find; but worth it! There’s super-friendly doggos, goats, ducks, & a turkey. I left a bit more knowledgeable, full of homemade lox, & with the taste of mind-blowing delicious homemade goat cheese in my mouth. The bathroom is an outhouse, like in the description; but the toilet flushes & there’s a hand washing sink! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘

If you’re in the market for authenticity, this is the spot. Kind, welcoming; and actually interesting to hang out with - Richard is a great man.

What an amazing find! This is a fun, off the beaten path gem that we highly recommend. The camp is away from
the tourist area which is exactly what we were looking for. There’s tons of animals and cool/funky art. Richard is very personable and full of great information. We look forward to staying with him again

Richard’s place is off the beaten path, and then some! We loved it. Quirky indeed and as advertised. The best part was Richard for sure. Great working dogs to great us and he got us hooked up with electric and a hose for water. Quiet. Good night’s sleep. We had a 12 year old with us and he enjoyed seeing the goats.

A very unique spot. Our host was very friendly and creative person, and he took the time to show us his sculptures and animals around the property. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

If you’re looking for a fun, artistic, eccentric adventure this is your place! It is definitely off the grid, unique and interesting. We had access to full hook ups for our 30 foot fifth wheel trailer. It was a bit tight getting in and out of the property but we were able to manage. The property itself is interesting to explore – it is full of all kinds of art pieces. Plus there are goats, ducks and other large fowl wondering around. There were two friendly dogs - the large watchdog was kept in a pen while we were there. We met interesting people while we were there too. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something different.
