This is a rugged patch of landscape in the oldest, densest, largest Joshua Tree forest in the world. Next door to the South Rim, Lake Mead, and Town!! Rainbow Desert Hideaway becomes a state of mind. The mountains, swimming in Lake Mead, visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, going into town to Crow's Nest for a coffee or brew, and then sleeping under the Milky Way surrounded by Joshua Trees. Or perhaps, just settling in after a long drive, laughing around the fire and looking up at the stars. Whomever visits this property adds to the value and magic of the space and I welcome you to add your little touch. Come unwind for a quick stop or a longer stay.

There is a cleared out circle for camping and hanging out, however, feel free to recreate and camp anywhere on the property.

We got in late, but we could not find though we tried directions from several maps apps and our GPS. Needs clear directions. Ended up staying at an RV park nearby.

The location was far away from others and the crowds as we don't like camping with loud toys and kids and had a small dog with us. Area of was great for our tent. We didnt do much but sleep but we enjoyed the location being close to oatman, lake mead and the Grand canyon made for a great next day. Will definitely stay again in winter time as it was hot around sunset still.
