Beautiful views, private setting, feels protected. Great place to camp and take a scenic walk before bed. Host very responsive and even went extra mile to step up and advise when my husband got lost out walking. Recommend pinning your location at campsite so if you take a walk easier to get back to base. Can be easy to get lost out walking, gorgeous area…
Could not find this property!!!
Could NOT find this property! The only directions that the owner provided was the combo to his gate. We used a Garmin GPS, MapQuest, and the Google Maps coordinates provided on our HipCamp confirmation page. Nothing worked. One took us to a gate that only had a key-padlock, one took us to a gate with a code-padlock, but the 0619 code provided did not work, and the last one led us out a very rough road that became impassable! We tried calling Steven and left him a voicemail, but he didn’t call us back. In fact, he still hasn’t called us back after 3 days!
Stopped at Steven’s place again on the way home, headed west. Made a same day request to stay while on the road and got a quick response. Very convenient to the I-40. Quick in and out for my road-weary bones. Convenient, peaceful, quiet.

David, I’m sorry you had trouble locating the property. I’ve not had this issue in the past. I received zero calls, zero emails (until today) which is well past your visit, and zero text messages! ZERO! Honestly not sure what I can do for someone that didn’t contact me. Check the reviews below. That’s the norm. I’m incredibly responsive when contacted., I have 4 VRBO’s this isn’t my first Rodeo! I’m sorry you couldn’t find the property. Truly!
