This is a true off grid experience we have lived out here for 5 years now and just love it. We can provide you with firewood for your camp spots when u arrive you will have enough wood for the night if you stay longer let us know and we can get you some more. There is a lot of Native American History in the area and have found many arrowheads. There is very little traffic once you go past first two miles so it’s nice and quiet out here. We look forward to meeting you and thank you for considering us. One thing is we r 4 miles up the road cross rooads are Woodlands Ranch Rd and Cattle Guard rd were on the Sw corner and there is a few rough spots so just take it slow.

Camping with a full sky of stars
This is a wonderful place to camp. The stars at night are absolutely immaculate at this spot and it’s so close to the Grand Canyon! Christian is a great host, extremely friendly and so accommodating to any of your needs. I will definitely be recommending this spot to others and will definitely be coming back in the future.
Exceeded our expectations
We were unable to meet the time we scheduled by a day due to traffic on our commute from Texas. Christian was so accommodating and even offered an extra day. We arrived and were met by our host. Picnic table and extra firewood was offered since the night was bringing 28 degree weather! He made us feel so welcome and literally rolled out the red carpet. The views are phenomenal on his property. I can’t say enough good things about it! Thank you Christian!
Great isolated stay; great host!
CK was Great! He even brought us some beer to welcome us. We loved meeting him and a few of his dogs! The whole experience was positive. He is a little ways off the beaten path, but that is what we were after. The sky is huge, and the site was well put together. We had the entire area to ourselves, so the isolation was awesome. Thanks, CK!
Best place near grand canyon!
What a great place to stay! The price is right and it is super close to the south rim. Christian has a neat set up! He had a picnic table and bundle of firewood ready to go for us. Very nice guy, great communication, great directions! We added this camp to our favorites and will be returning in the future! Thank you, Christian!
Our stay at Grand Canyon Unplugged was fantastic! Christian was the perfect host. He was quick to respond with any questions prior to our trip, met us at the entrance, showed us to our site, and even offered us hand sanitizer to have at our site. Our site was secluded, had treated ground for tent set up, a picnic table, a fireplace, and more firewood then i could even imagine burning. There was one other group of campers there and we did not see nor hear them during our stay. This place is THE place to stay if you want to get away from the crowds and are tired of "camping" next to a major roadway hearing traffic buzz by. This is the perfect basecamp to make a day trip up to the Grand Canyon or to just enjoy the outdoors.
