PLEASE NOTE: SUV or cross-over needed on rocky road going into camp site, about 500 yards of rocky/ dirt road leading right to camp site.

Big shady trees, big fire pit, 3 acres to spread out, mountain views with incredible sunsets and star gazing! You can smell trees, fresh/ clean air, 20 minute drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, 35 minute drive to Williams, AZ and a little over an hours drive to Flagstaff, AZ.  The wind through the trees and the peaceful calm out on my 3 acres is relaxing, I can't say enough about the sunsets and star gazing- you can see the whole Milky Way!

My land is near the town of Valle, AZ: Valle is a census-designated place in Coconino County, Arizona, United States. As of the 2010 US Census the population of Valle was 832. It lies at an altitude of 5,994 feet (1,827 m),[3] at the junction of U.S. Route 180 and State Route 64. Its attractions include the Valle Airport (40G), the Planes of Fame Air Museum, and Flintstones Bedrock City amusement park. Drivers often stop at the town on their way to the Grand Canyon from either Williams or Flagstaff, as it is approximately at the halfway point. I am 3 1/2miles east to the nearest gas station.

First, for the location (about an hour to the Grand Canyon South Rim) and the beautiful landscape, the price can’t be beat. The entire road off the highway is pretty rocky and uneven, which was hard on our aging car. Also, a neighbor decided to move sheet metal (?) at 10pm - a little unsettling. Loved the fire pit. Overall a great weekend, thanks!

-very minimal campsite. The fire pit was great though!
-OP is not lying about needing an SUV to access the site. The road is *very* rough. I have an SUV and I was a little nervous about whether my car could handle it.
-when I closely followed the directions in the description, I had no trouble finding the site. They led me right to it!

Definitely need a truck or suv to get to this site, do not try to attempt in a car, we drive a Tacoma so it was fine. Site seemed not upkept, trash was present around the site. Stars were pretty and the site was private.

So beautiful at dusk/night! You can see so many stars and the milky way. There is absolutely nothing around so they were so clear to see!
Only thing was, the South Rim was further than 20 min but probably because it's a long road to the campsite itself and we went slow since there were so many rocks.
Make sure you have everything you need before heading there for the night.

I liked it was off the beaten path but nothing was done to the camp site to make it more accommodating. Loose dirty and dust everywhere, no proper markings of site or directions once you travel 2 miles on dirt roads, randomly in people’s backyard. The only addition to the site was a fire pit. Making a travel section for a tent and proper signs of the sight would elevate the experience by miles.

You can see all the stars in the galaxy here, it was really beautiful. Get there before the sun sets, my husband and I got a little lost on our drive there.

This site was incredible! Very remote camping with no amenities but was exactly what we were looking for, WILD! Definitely be aware you have to go slow down a long dirt road to get to the spot, but it was exactly as described, easy to find with google maps directions and the most insane night sky I have ever seen. We danced in the moonlight around the fire for hours.

Brian was SUPER responsive and helpful both before the trip and the day-of. Thank you! Like it says on the site site description, the road getting in is a few miles of very bumpy, rocky road, so be prepared. You pass a few scattered trailers and ranch homes, but other than that you're completely secluded. The night sky was unreal, full of stars and visible Milky Way. At night it was dead silent with only scattered moos from cows. Would for sure recommend for experienced campers.
