Hippy Haven

It was such a quiet relaxing atmosphere. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed. There was plenty of wood for the stove and the firepit. Jennifer was the perfect host. I highly recommend.

The cabin was very well presented and cosy and the wood stove great for heating. The 4k TV and wifi was very welcome and helped us to relax. The use of the shared kitchen and chill out area in the shop was also very welcoming and comfortable. The fenced area helped us to keep an eye on our dogs and there was plenty of wood for the stove.

What a wonderful, cozy little cabin that is just the place to be on a frosty morning!! I absolutely loved my extended visit! The folks who live here are what makes Alberta great! Welcoming, thoughtful, fun to talk with and facilities that make your mouth drop! Sweet cabin, heated shop/common area that is so well equipped for whipping up a meal or kick back and relax. The grounds are park-like manicured -thanks Shane!!

A perfect Getaway from City Life, nice cozy environment, perfect hospitality

The Hippy Haven is a cozy, comfortable spot for a relaxing weekend getaway or potentially a working vacation! Jennifer made us feel welcome on her property and the available amenities made the stay feel luxurious (bathroom, kitchen). The property is surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of space for family activities and areas for kids to play. The cabin is secluded enough from the main house for a bit of privacy.

Falling asleep to the warm glow of the cast iron stove in the cabin was amazing and waking up to the complimentary cup of coffee was such a nice added touch. We spent the evening walking around the property and then having a fire with a complimentary bucket of fire wood.

There are ponies, chickens and we got a visit from the neighbours horses. Jennifer welcomed us to bring our dog and the cabin has a fenced yard, which gave us a piece of mind for our dog's safety.

We enjoyed this spot away from the city, but also appreciated the fact that there is service and wifi so we could come on a weekday and still do some work.

I cannot wait to come back one day to the Hippy Haven. Thank you to Jennifer and her family for making our stay amazing!

The Hippy Haven was very comfortable! The host, Jennifer was very accomadating and made me feel welcomed.

Great little cabin. We had such a nice night. The little fenced yard around it was great for us to have our dogs with us. A decent kitchen and very nice bathroom in the building beside the cabin was a very welcome touch. Fire wood provided in a nice fire pit, we had a little fire with our dinner. It was a relaxing stay and we will certainly be back. Very nice people for hosts. Cute little farm.

stayed here for one night with my boyfriend and it was great! jennifer and her family were so accommodating, kind, and welcoming! the space was beautiful, everything was clean and professional. there was a bunch of animals to spend time with and they were so sweet. overall it was a great getaway, awesome if you’re looking for a break from city life, or just need some alone time.
