Dog Park Dream! Close to Calgary

Shauna and her spouse were so wonderful! They made me feel at ease as a solo traveller right away.

Their land is clean, welcoming and Stewie and I cannot wait to come back again! I’m very glad the campsite was only about 15 min away from my home, the perfect place to test out my DIY minivan camper.

We stayed for one night this weekend out at the park and adored every minute! The ability to let the dog run free the whole night was great, the fire pit provided was perfect. We tented so didn’t need hookups but if you did there is full hookups too! All around 10/10 experience, will be back next weekend 🥳

Nice large grassy field with many trees for shade. Water, power, picnic table w large umbrella, clean firepit and even wading pools for the dogs to keep cool. All of this is fully fenced so dogs can safely roam free.

This site is absolutely fantastic! If you have a dog, it is a guaranteed winner. Even if you don’t, it’s cool to be in the middle of all the ranch land and have so much beautiful space around you.

My wife and I had just spent a week hiking in Canadian national parks with our dog, which was awesome, but of course he had to be on the leash. Our dog could not believe his good fortune when we got to Shauna’s land and he had an amazing gigantic dog yard all to himself.

I’ve stayed at over a dozen Hipcamp sites and this is one of my favorites for sure.

Great place to camp! Lots of space and privacy. Our stay was short, but we appreciated the space and hospitality.

This spot is dog friendly and big rig friendly. We had an easy access for our 45ft motor home. Our dog loved the property and we felt safe on the property. Easy access to downtown Calgary. Electric and water were provided on a post. There was a picnic table and grills available.
Turn down a gravel driveway and you will see an enclosure directly on the left. Do not go further because you may not be able to turn your rig around. This area is also a dog park and a doggie day care area, so lots of other dogs and occasional traffic down the driveway.
