Description

This little A-frame, the Salt Chuck East Cabin, lies about 40 miles from Petersburg on the northern portion of Kupreanof Island. While the dwelling is stocked with an oil heater, bunk beds, and rowboat, it’s the wilderness around the cabin that’s worth exploring. Launch out from the front door for pristine coho fishing and waterfowl hunting, hike the primitive Portage Mountain Loop Trail that links up to Portage Bay, or just chill and take in the amazing view!
