Description

Swim on a sandy beach in the summer, dip your toes into the rushing water, and cast a line downstream to reel in some steelhead, trout, dolly varden, or salmon. All this and more can be found at Lower Salamander Creek Campground. Come anytime you please to score one of the few first-come, first-served, rustic spots, but when the heat rises and the water levels are high, it is an especially good time for splashing and beaching!
