This place is perfect!
My brother and I camped here for the weekend. We really enjoyed the beautiful view and the host was very nice. The location was perfect and not too far from everything. The hill to get to get to the camp area was challenging but won't stop us from staying here again! Thanks for a great stay!
Not to our expectations
It did state it’s a walk in site, it didn’t state that it’s a steep hill and if you have a disability or plan to take a vehicle to the campsite you may want a different location. We chose not to stay at this location because of the inaccessibility with our motorcycles. The host did adhere to the 3 day cancellation policy, no refund was given.
A good spot for a day or two
The site was clean and had easy access. But once you got down that hill, you certainly didn’t want to go back up for any reason! The hill is/was/can be treacherous damp or dry. A hand rail needs to be installed. There wasn’t access to the creek to cool off during the hottest part of the day. The best part-it was away from everyone. Quiet and peaceful. Loved hearing the two owls in the early morning. This will be my 2nd choice next time. Host was very nice and answered all questions promptly!
Really peaceful location! Accommodating host! I will say that I thought there would be a bathroom available for easy usage, as the listing described. However, the owner was out of town, and I didn’t feel comfortable with coordinating usage with the other house guests.
This place is beyond doubt a gorgeous spot. However if you are wanting to "get out there" this may not be the spot for you. The house is visible for the site and feels it seems secluded but it definitely is still in in a back yard. Pack light because the trek down the hill (and then back up) is pretty steap. You should bring your own firewood. There are sticks ans stuff around but not enough for a cooking fire. Great spot for first time, easy goers.
An incredible spot! It was very private, with the added security of having civilization nearby. The creek was gorgeous, and we loved the hammocks that were already set up when we got there! A beautiful spot, and a great host! We definitely plan on visiting again!
