Description

If you’re out rocking the rapids late in the day and haven’t found a little patch of earth to call your own for the night, check out Wolf Creek Campground. It’s the largest campground in Snake Creek Campground and it rarely fills up. Pitch your tent in the riverside forest and take advantage of incredible trout fishing, hiking trails, rock-climbing, and of course the raging rapids. Every campsite is spacious and secluded, so you can be sure of a restful sleep. The Wolf Creek Campground just might be the Snake River’s best kept secret.

We stayed for six nights at the Wolf Creek Campground near Alpine, WY. We liked our site (#1), the campground and the camp host so well that we signed up for six more nights. The pit toilets were especially clean and well maintained. During our stay, we saw a mule deer feeding in the sage brush in the campground. This location is about 30 minutes from Jackson which make it convenient to visit the Grand Teton NP and the south entrance to Yellowstone NP. I would definitely stay here again when visiting this area.

We stayed here during the last two weeks of May 2022 in a 38’ fifth wheel.
