Cotton Canvas wall tents have been providing shelter for traveling Americans for more than a century. It's simplicity and openness allows for standing room in the middle with storage and sleeping next to the walls.

Today this rugged shelter has been adapted for modern use the most common in our region being winter hunting and summer mountain fishing trips.

On a cold mountain winter's day there is nothing more welcoming than a wall tent with smoke coming from the stove pipe. That meant there was hot coffee and warm place to set an visit.

We invite you to step inside one of our spacious wall tents and experience a simpler style of living that was common to many early Americans on their journey of Discovery.

Never saw the site, we got there later than we were supposed to, and even though we texted back and forth, he never mentioned we had to be there before dark, we travelled a long distance....I texted him to ask where to go and he responded with “find your site in the dark and don’t you dare wake anyone up!!” When we did arrive and not sure where to go, he came out and chewed us out. He was so rude.
We were very excited about staying there and enjoying the the organic breakfast the next day....needless to say we didn’t stay. Was shocked at how rude he was.

We had a wonderful September stay at Big Quiet Cowboy Camping! The place was very well kept and the host was responsive! The showers had run out of propane but they were quickly filled and running again. Beautiful sunrises

Great stay on the farm! We enjoyed making fires each night with all others staying in the camp site. Wood is provided for free. In the middle of no where with a great sunset.
