Hey Happy Campers! We welcome you to our small slice of Driftless heaven. The camp location is surrounded by agricultural and wooded property (it’s quiet and private). Within a short drive, ride, or even walk, you have access to some of the best trout streams a fishing license can buy. You're also in close proximity to amazing cross country skiing, hiking and biking trails, agri-tourism (apple pickin' good times!), endless photography opportunities, stargazing and visits to downtown Viroqua! After a long day of adventuring, come back to this quiet retreat; burn a few sticks, have a couple drinks and destroy your buddies in a friendly game of fireside cards.
This site can accommodate 2 large tents with plenty of room for a camp kitchen, fire pit and seating area. When pulling up to the property, there is a gravel parking area that can easily accommodate 2 cars (or 1 vehicle and a small camper). From there, we have a walkway to the camp pad (about 50 steps away). We've left a wheel barrow chained to the lantern post which you can use to easily haul your gear to/from your vehicle. Please be sure to lock it back before you leave.
UPDATE: We're excited to have completed the new compost style toilet and solar shower stall on the property! Instructions are located on the sawdust bin in the outbuilding and will be included in the information document we send prior to your stay.
Hope you enjoy the camp and we just ask to please leave it better than you found it!

Great secluded camping spot! Very quiet road and tucked between the rolling hills! Bring a sunshade as the spit does get a lot of sun!
Thanks Travis! Had a wonderful stay and the cows stayed with my dog Sammie and I till dusk, beautiful evening and morning and looking forward to return for a longer stay and explore the area more. Thank you!
Awesome private camp spot tucked in the rolling farm fields of the Driftless! It was a great stay for the couple nights! And a clean and convenient outhouse too!
Travis was a very responsive host even when the problem at hand was me not reading informs he sent me close enough.
Beautiful secluded spot on a rolling hillside. The site was visible from the the gravel road, but there was very little traffic. Stayed one night with 4 adults and two kids under 5. Wheelbarrow was very handy to haul camping equipment. Not much shade on the tent pad area, so bring a sunshade if it's a sunny warm day.
