Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Come along to Karaoke at the Restaurant every Saturday night!!! Our camping set-up is a work in progress so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Also, stay tuned for our glamping option yet to come :) Currently Adults only, no children. If you book during the week (Monday to Thursday) please arrive before 7:30pm and make sure you give us a call to we know you are coming, we don't always check these messages. Thank you :)

Summer Creek Farm Camping
1 hour away
We just wanted to get away for 1 night on the Labour Day long weekend. Summer Creek was an easy 1 hour drive away and suited what we needed. The camping is a pretty big paddock that only has 10 sites so we were well spread out. The highlight was the karaoke which was fun with a few of the locals and the hosts making us all feel relaxed and welcome. We ate at our campsite but if we were staying 2 nights would have had the wood fired pizzas or curries on offer. All in all a very enjoyable day and night with good company and entertainment.

Summer Creek Farm Camping
Overall, we enjoyed our camp and had lots of fun. However, at night when it’s really quiet, you can hear cars constantly going past. Didn’t know there was that much traffic through there. A little bit of grey noise if you don’t mind it. Hosts were friendly and enjoyed their in-house beer.

It’s a nice little for camping. The only downside is hardly any shade. Would be nice during Autumn or spring. Lovely surrounding.

Loved the Whole Experience!
We just had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. Food was divine (definitely try their homemade honey icecream). We loved the outdoor shower and found the whole place gorgeous. Woken up to wildlife, fantastic farm animals, lovely walking tracks and local shops- we adored the whole setup and can’t wait to come back. The place is full of local history and the authentic woodfire oven was both delicious for the pizzas and cool for the history of it. Recommend getting in early for a shady spot, But we loved the rustic charm of the whole place and the hosts were so amazing and accomodating. Just a lovely place with lovely people, we felt at home immediately. Thanks again for an amazing couple of nights, we can’t wait to come back!

An enjoyable experience
We've been to the brewery before but didn't camp there, so when we found out camping was available, we took a chance and booked a spot for one night to test our Tesla in camping mode. The hosts are beautiful people, very accommodating and helpful. The camping location is on a paddock with little shade, so be prepared. There is a cold camp shower at the far end of the paddock, which surprisingly works well and was very welcome after setting up the tent. We went on the weekend and booked the camp dinner and the karaoke session was very enjoyable. We ended up ordering more food, dessert and drinks from the menu, then headed back to the tent for the night. For those who love stargazing, the paddock offers a very nice view from all angles.

All Smiles at Summer Creek Farm
We loved our night at Summer Creek Farm! The hosts are so welcoming and warm. We enjoyed a delicious dinner (must try the ice cream) at the brewery and were so well looked after. The karaoke was fantastic and fun. A fresh field shower was a bonus and we loved having the resident dogs come visit us. We will be visiting again. Thank you for having us.
