A immaculately kept property with amazing scenery.. Mark and Jane are fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble.. the walks are beautiful and we were lucky enough to have the whole camping area to ourselves… hot showers were great at the end of a cold day.. thank you for having us and hosting our fur babies first camping trip 😊

A bit of bush, a bit of lake, a bit of top hill (sea of clouds) experience all in 1 location! Can't beat that! Plus my son enjoyed feeding the animals! Great host! Will definitely come back!

Thanks for taking the time to post a review Romel, much appreciated. Regards, Mark.
Stayed at running brook for 3 nights, Mark and Jayne were lovely and very helpful. The site is secluded, pretty, fairly flat and overlooking the dam. The fire pits are perfect for camp oven cooking. The ablution building was quirky and clean. We had a great time exploring the surrounding property and pine plantation. Will definitely be back!

Thanks for the review Joanne, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully see you again one day. Mark.
The drive into Lewana campsites was so beautiful. Mark and Jayne were so incredibly welcoming, and were more than happy to help with any questions we had. We bought some firewood from their little shop for our campfire. The property itself was so incredibly well kept, all the ammenities were clean and it was nice to end our night with a hot shower.
We were lucky enough to have the entire site to ourselves, surrounded by tall trees and overlooking the dam. In the morning, we were greeting by kangaroos and chirping birds. We had a walk to explore the property and visited the alpacas and emu before we left.
We had an amazing stay at Running Brook, and we have never felt so relaxed on a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back again to try out their other campsites. Thanks Mark and Jayne!

Thanks Erin, Jayne and I really appreciate you taking the time to post a review. We are pleased you enjoyed your camp stay and look forward to seeing you again one day. Mark
One of the best campsites we’ve stayed at! So many beautiful views, from watching the sunset over the damn to watching the mist rise over the valley in the morning. Everything about this campsite is just so relaxing and peaceful. Thank you Mark & Jayne for a wonderful stay!

Thanks for posting up a review Tara and for all the photos! Hopefully see you again one day. Mark.
Camped at running Brooke for 3 nights, nice isolated quiet camp spot overlooking the dam. Lots of birdlife, kangaroos to watch and listen to, great way to unwind.

Thanks for taking the time to post a review Christian, much appreciated.
It was a lovely long weekend stay with just me, husband, friend couple and 3 little dogs. All loved the secluded bush camping set up. Mark and wife Jenny are wonderful host and owners of the property. We will definitely go back, next time will be when the creek is running. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the review Nana. Jayne and I are really pleased you enjoyed your stay and we will hopefully see you again when Running Brook is flowing! All the best, Mark.
We had an amazing stay at Lewana Campground, on the Running Brook site. This tranquil Hipcamp is an off-grid experience yet comes with the home comforts of a hot shower, toilet, BBQ and fresh coffee of a weekend morning.
The camp is located on a 100 acre property, surround by tall pine trees overlooking a large beautiful dam, perfect to take an afternoon dip.
After an incredibly scenic drive, we were welcomed by the lovely hosts Jayne and Mark on arrival at the Reception, given a map and were shown around the farm, filled with Peacocks, Alpacas, Emu’s, Chooks and many more animals.
Lewana is filled with so much nature and wildlife, it’s very relaxing to sit back, listen to the birds and watch the kangaroos jump around the land.
The Running Brook site is located on the Eastern side of the property, away from the cottages and the Host’s residence, making for a secluded and private stay, however, it’s comforting to know that Jayne and Mark are not too far away and are the most friendly and knowledgeable hosts, more than happy to help with any questions or query’s you may have.
There is also a little shop located near the reception, which stocks cold drinks, ice creams, homemade produce and gifts, so you can take a little piece of Lewana home with you.
Thank you to Jayne and Mark for our perfect stay! We will definitely be back when in the Blackwood River Valley again, this Hipcamp is our favourite one we have stayed at so far!
