Dry Dry Dry
We were very excited to visit Gabyon station, it is an obviously beautiful setting although this year the weather has been less than kind as it is dry as a chip. The hosts were away so other activities noted were not available like bike riding or tours, wild flowers were a bust so we left one day early. Will make sure next trip i do much more research on how the season is and check if the advertised activities are actually available.

Gabyon Station Camping
Great Station Stay
We had a great couple of nights here, it’s more like free camping but with all the amenities. Showers were clean and hot and flushing dunnies. The host Helen was so accommodating, there’s so much to see and do on the station and Helen gave us a map and directions for a full day out. Camp fires at night and they host a happy hour get together at the homestead with beer and wine for sale or BYO, great opportunity to meet and chat with like minded campers. We will definitely be back.
