Redgum Hill
Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property. You are next to the old hay shed and a few hundred meters from our ‘Quarry’ dam (one of our three dams).
Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter.

Spent 2 nights here. Beautiful, quiet place. Plenty of good dry firewood. Dawn was great. Would definitely stay here again.
A very special place indeed so quiet sitting in front of the fire looking up at the stars and our hosts are very nice the layout for the three spot was really easy to follow
Great spot! We only did a brief overnighter but it was perfect for that. Directions were super clear with an easy and friendly check in/out. The kids and dogs had ball - looking forward to getting back there!
I think Redgum Hill was amazing, plenty of space and an awesome view.
The walks around the property were nice scenic walks and would recommend the whole place to anyone.
A lovely quiet and elevated spot under the big red gums!
Perfect for a few nights in the swag!
Birdlife in abundance as well as heaps of kangaroos bounding around us during the night!
We will definitely be back.
Thank you 🙏🏼

What a fabulous camping location completely away from any other camp sites. Having the entire Redgum Hill area to ourselves was beyond amazing …a real bush camping escape with kangaroos & incredible bird life around us! Dawn & Mick were so welcoming & friendly, giving us some great local information about the 3 wineries close by….Oakway Estate with small brewery was only 2.5kms away! Loved our day trips out to these brilliant local businesses! Highly recommend camping on Dawn & Mick’s property!
Awesome! Very secluded and huge open farm and bushland area. It was quiet and had a lot of freedom. Perks were that native birds and kangaroos frequented the area. Nice temperature as well throughout the stay, not hot and stuffy but fresh and nice breeze flow. Highly recommend!
A great campsite that ticked all of our boxes. Picturesque, private and peaceful, with direct access to state forest for hiking and the Munda Biddi trail. Delightful cellar door just down the road and ready access to the convenience of Donnybrook, with plenty of other bush and beach areas to explore within a close radius. Dawn and Michael are perfect hosts, there when you have a question, but completely hands off, if not.
We were a big group of 14 people camping over Christmas.
There was enough shady spots for all the tents and caravan, which was fantastic since temperatures went up to 40 degrees!
It is a beautiful farm and we were completely private!
The directions were easy to follow and Dawn even provided us with a info file on all the local attractions!
The beach was close enough to cool down during the day.
Thanks Dawn and Michael for sharing your beautiful farm with us.
Everyone in our group agreed that this was a spot to remember and definitely one to return to!
