We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! The fire ban commenced on 1 Oct 2023 (Shire of Murray). Dogs welcome (on leash).

Alot of items (stuff I would call rubbish) left laying about, chairs, tables, car ramps etc made the please look very untidy. Description said 4by required for some areas but even with 4by I couldn't get to my designated area without damaging my van due to rocks jutting out of the track and rather deep ruts in the track. Host was very slow to respond to any messages making things difficult however when the eventually responded an hour after we had left the camp due to not being able to even get to our site and then not responding to messages, they eventually provided a partial refund.

Opera 1
Easy directions and far enough from other campers to (hopefully) not disturb them with our noisy children. Opera 1 is great for kids with no really steep areas and it was easy to keep an eye on them while they were exploring around the campsite. We would love to come back in winter to enjoy a campfire.

Unfortunately we had to leave after one night. Bullants nest were everywhere and we could barely find a flat surface for our tent. We moved the tent three times and kept finding more ant nests. No grass either just rocks, we went in autumn. Season was obviously different then pictured. Wasn't private as expected. Would suit caravans perfectly. We were travelling with a baby and a dog. Neither could be on the ground due to getting bitten by the bull ants. Pretty disappointed as this was planned as a birthday weekend present. Some maintenance would go a long way.

Tampines
Great spot. Tampines cement slab is in a hot spot for hot days, but other shady still within Tampines provide great alternatives if you want to get out of the sun.
