Tygart Lake Campground

Home to a diversity of wild fish, Tygart Lake is considered one of the best bass waters in the state. Boaters and paddlers can all find their own secret fishing spot on more than 1,750 acres of crystal water. Families will love the sandy beach, playgrounds, and kayak rentals, and if you’ve had one too many granola bars paired with boxed mac n’ cheese, you can dine in the full-service restaurant before heading back to your campsite for a little s’mores action. Wooded campsites are a bit of a walk from the lake, which means you can work up a sweat before diving in!
