There are multiple trees perfect for hanging your hammock in the shade. The compost toilet, about 50ft away, is shared with another campsite. Parking is on a gravel lane adjacent to the site. Potable water (from a frost-free hydrant) is available about 80ft from the site.
The pond is only for viewing, no swimming or fishing, please. We have nesting birds occasionally and we expect their habitat to be respected.

We welcome campers of all kinds!
We began operating our 150 acre farm in 2011 and became the first Certified Naturally Grown Livestock farm in West Virginia in 2013. We raise 100% grass-fed beef, Western and Chinese medicinal herbs. Our family garden supplies more than half of our vegetables and our favorite berries, and our flock of chickens supply eggs and an early morning wake-up call for our campers! There are no GMO's, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides used on our farm.
Farm products are available for purchase on-site. Campers can choose to to have a farm to table meal cooked for them as an extra at checkout. We prepare most of our food from scratch using local produce, meat and bulk organic dry goods. We occasionally make yogurts, noodles, simple cheeses, and fermented foods.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The camping site, outhouse was very clean and well kept. We loved the meal options and Jennie and her family were very helpful and responsive. The view was gorgeous watching the sunset on an open fire. We’ll need to revisit again to see the farm animals! Thank you!
This place is magic. Tucked away in a peaceful valley, on a lovely family farm that practices organic and sustainable farming. The host family are welcoming and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Don't miss the delicious breakfast, and be sure to look at the excellent food products on sale.
Great site. A bit close to the house and other site but lots of trees and quiet made it feel secluded. Wonderful host that was extremely helpful and also left us alone to do our thing. Absolutely would stay here again. Beautiful property and surroundings.
Beautiful stay on a sweet farm
We appreciated the beauty of the surroundings, the balance of privacy yet nearness to the main house and the one other canpsite, the hands-off approach of the hosts, the very clean potty, the quietness of the campers at the other site, the buckets to carry the bundles of wood we purchased in advance, the cleanliness and upkeep of the sites themselves, the pretty walks around the farm, the sound of the family playing frisbee together in the morning, the fire ring, the huge picnic table, the cute little foot bridge that connects the two campsites, and the generous check-in/check-out times. We had a great trip!
Got to the campsite after sundown (which is a no no) because we were driving in from chicago.
Briand Jennifer were kind enough to help us get situated in the dark.
Stars were very nice. The campsite itself is nice, clean and well maintained.
We only stayed overnight to catch some sleep before continuing west and was our first experience with Hipcamp. Great time!
Great stay on the farm!
Pond Place was a nice site to camp at for 2 nights. It's little more private and set back from the house than the other site. Jennie was a great host who was very flexible and worked with me when I was trying to modify my reservation and the HipCamp support was slow. The farm-to-table meal was delicious (best pulled pork I've ever tasted!).
Only down side was it seemed like we were intruding on the other campers every time the outhouse was used, since it's basically at the edge of the other site.
Quiet farm stay in wva!
Jennifer and her family have a quiet, beautiful property that you can get back to nature on. The site comes with a picnic table and fire ring, and many spots you can pitch your tent on. You are in view of one other campsite, but it was not an issue for us- you are far enough away to not infringe on each other. They have a super clean composting toilet and potable water available. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!
