Cabin A is located on the same private, winding road as cabin B, in a wooded and beautiful settingIdeal for 2 families to rent the pair of cabins.

Cabin A is a rustic camping cabin; it has electricity and heat, but no plumbing. It has a microwave, a small refrigerator, a propane tabletop stove that uses the (approximately) 1 lb bottles, fire pit, and a charcoal grill. It will sleep 6 to 8 people, and has room to park a couple of vehicles.

The cabins are fully furnished with beds, chairs, table, and other necessary furnishings, but our guests supply their own pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, pots, pans, plates and tableware. There are bunk beds and a queen bed on the main floor, a queen mattress in one loft and two twin mattresses in the other loft. Cabin renters get their own private port-a-potty, and we have a public shower-house nearby which is sterilized between uses, as well as sources of potable drinking water. Cabin A is a very short walk from the shower-house.

This cabin is near the lodge house and office, where there is access to a phone with free calls anywhere in the US. There is no WiFi at the cabins, but there is WiFi in the vicinity of the main lodge house.

Abrams Creek is near many extraordinary recreational sites, but is also its own destination. You are never far from our wild, whitewater stream that runs through a majestic hemlock forest. In some places, the stream is a constant source of energy and playfulness; in other places, it is peaceful and calming, inviting you to soak in its beauty. The forest contains a vast array of plants and wildlife.

We are located within 30-45 minutes of many major recreational areas, including Blackwater Falls, Swallow Falls, Dolly Sods Wilderness, the Youghiogheny River, several ski resorts, and Deep Creek Lake.

Such a great experience! Staff was informative and friendly. Cabin A is basic but cozy, only thing we wish we had known prior is that the fridge is really small, about half the size of a normal mini fridge. Don't waste any space by packing wood, they require you to burn theirs- $5 a bucket full. Parking was easy and they have a ton of overflow options. The surround area was breathtaking. So much beautiful moss and tree cover everywhere. The river was serene, we loved climbing all over the boulders and fallen trees. There is clean drinking water and porta potties readily available throughout the area. Overall 10/10 would recommend/ visit again.

Hi, Leslie-- Thanks for visiting our little "gem of nature"! We are delighted that you enjoyed it so much, and we hope you can visit again. We appreciate the feedback, and there is now a larger refrigerator in Cabin A. The firewood restriction is actually a state law: it is not even legal to bring firewood from one part of the state to another, and definitely not from out of state. For the safety of our forests, only local firewood should be burned. We keep the price low, so it should be no more expensive than buying firewood anywhere else.
