This is what people are talking about! Located on a small hill above Jordan Creek, this cool cabin has an outside deck overlooking the creek and surrounding forest. It has all the amenities, new pit toilet with interior LED lighting, private outdoor propane insta-hot shower and totally cool adjacent tent site with picnic table and fire circle. Located in a stand of recently thinned 80 yr old firs and backed by the stunning vertical cliffs of Deer Mountain this place is a must see. One room off-grid solar-powered cabin with huge bunk bed. Propane heater in the corner for heat, looks like a fireplace.  Also a two burner propane stove, countertop for fixing meals  and table and chairs. All LED lighting. Solar panels on roof charge batteries for great inside lighting, a porch light, underground wiring to outhouse and a Bluetooth stereo with speakers in the ceiling. Ham radio antenna and socket next to the table for shortwave fun. Sit on the deck or lounge around the fire, hike our many trails. Invite some friends along to camp in the adjacent tent site and share the amenities.

Beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful and we love that our dogs can be off leash without worrying about upsetting the neighbors. It rained 50% of the time we were there but we still had a great time. Cabin has heating.

This beautiful creek just a minute walks from the cabin.View of cabin from the creekFirewoood was providedNot very often do my dogs get to enjoy Freedom to roam while we camp.

Beautiful area with plenty of space and trails to walk our dogs. The cabin was clean and our stay was very relaxing. The descriptions and pictures of camp is exactly what you get. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed one night with a friend. Perfect mix of privacy (couldn’t see any other camp sites where we were) and hospitality (the pilot went out in the heater and Dave arrived immediately to fix it). Cabin got super toasty even though outside temps were in the 30s at night. You will not need your warmest clothes/sleeping bag to sleep. Def plan to come back for a longer stay.

The cabin is the perfect mix of creature comforts and the great outdoors. Close to some great hikes. It is just an hour from Seattle too if you’re just trying to escape the city for a couple of days.

My husband, our two dogs and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Very relaxing atmosphere that is both private and peaceful. All the basics are provided. Very quiet and slept better than we had. Absolutely recommend this place!

Another beautiful weekend at this lovely cabin! There was more water in the creek this time, which was magical to listen to❤️ The fall temps warranted our trying out the cabin’s propane heater, which created a cozy feel.
Dave provided us a big crate of wood, so we thoroughly enjoyed a campfire. We also enjoyed a walkabout on the property which has short little hikes that loop around. The hot outdoor shower was once again a delightful treat🤗

Dave left us lots of firewood so we thoroughly enjoyed our campfire time🔥A view of a pond on one of the nearby loop trails we explored The cabin’s propane heater made us feel so cozyLots of places to hang hammocks!

The Norwegian cabin is fun and the surrounding area is beautiful. This is our second time visiting the cabin and my kids love it. Cute mushrooms to look at and fun trails to explore. Thanks for sharing the cabin with us, Dave!

Words cannot express how beautiful this place is. It’s the perfect getaway. I love how the other sites aren’t right next to each other. They are literally far away. I explored all of the campsites. I’m not just a cabin camper, but a tent camper as well. So I’ll definitely be staying in one of the covered tent campsites. This cabin though, had the perfect set up. My dog was super happy to be able to roam around without being on a leash. Out of all the places I’ve been to, this one is now my favorite. This is a must visit!! You won’t be disappointed. Did I mention you don’t have to share a bathroom with anyone?! Every site has their own. Along with their own water faucet.
