Explore the best the Olympic Peninsula has to offer! Whether you are in search of quality time with family and friends or an artist's retreat, wake to birdsong comfortably nestled amidst a lush garden and fruit trees on a working farm with a stunning view of the Olympic Mountain range.

Your campsite is less than a mile from the Olympic Discovery Trail where you can walk, bike, or skate along the waterfront. You will be surrounded by marvelous hiking opportunities, equal distance between Dungeness Spit and the gateway to the Olympic National Park.

There is so much to explore in this unique part of the world where the mountains meet the sea, and the microclimates and exquisite ecological territory you can cover in a short distance is truly marvelous. A drive of 18 miles will get you from the Strait of Juan Fuca, the Salish Sea, to the heights of Hurricane Ridge at 5242 feet in elevation, the mighty Olympics! This awesome configuration creates our temperate weather and long growing season!!

Hike and soak at Sol Duc Hot Springs, swim and explore Lake Crescent, marvel at the wonder of the land and restoration after the historic dam removal at the mouth of the Elwha River, enjoy the tide pools of Salt Creek and Freshwater Bay.

Enjoy Neah Bay, Sequim, the Ferry to Victoria, year round farmer's markets and more!

We are looking forward to hosting you at our multi-generational organic family farm and home in this peaceful, semi-rural environment.

Salish Sea is one of our two camping sites. If you have a larger party and are interested in renting both sites you will find the other spot listed as Klahhane Ridge, which is slightly larger and can accommodate up to 4 campers. The campsites share an outdoor kitchen and bath house that has a flush toilet and a private shower coming soon. Parking for Salish Sea is about 30 paces from the site.

The two campsites are next to each other, making them ideal for gatherings of family and friends. Roast marshmallows under the stars around a crackling campfire using wood that is available for purchase.

There are two local natural food stores within 15 minutes of your site: Sunny Farms in Sequim and Country Aire in Port Angeles. There are also plenty of local farmstands, including Chi's and Hidden Penny.

We are conveniently located less than a half mile from a Clallam County Transit Bus Stop, so you can easily bike or take the bus to Port Angeles to enjoy a drink at a lovely local brewing company or a delicious meal at one of Port Angeles's many restaurants and not worry about having to drive back!

Your site is adjacent to a large accessible field with a breathtaking view of the Olympic Mountains where you can run around, play catch, volleyball or frisbee.

Ideal for backpackers, bikers, birders or anyone who wants to soak up the serenity and rekindle their love of the great outdoors in this well cared-for and wonderfully appointed haven of gratitude and generosity.

We really enjoyed our stay at Salish Sea, I just wish the weather would have cooperated! It’s a lovely little setting amidst a small orchard and garden. The site is small and fits one tent complete with a bathroom and kitchen area not too far off hwy 101. It was clean, quiet and cozy, very close to the Olympic Discovery trail. We had a lovely time exploring the beaches and riding the trail. We would totally visit Salish Sea again!

This was a handy "Plan B" in case we didn't score a campsite at the first-come, first-serve Deer Park Campground. It is nearby and inexpensive. While we happily scored a site at Deer Park and we didn't stay at Salish Sea, we stopped by to check out Salish Sea. It has a flushing toilet(!) and a charming veggie garden nearby. However, the campsite is small and would not have fit our 2 tents.

Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad that you found our garden charming! While Salish Sea is listed as a site with just one designated spot, had you stayed and been in communication, we certainly would have worked with you to make sure you were able set up your second tent :) We wish you all the best on your future adventures!!
