Ready to land
Cheryl and Rune were excellent hosts. I arrived tired from a tough day and appreciated their welcome and tour. They cleared areas of their land to create camp sites and I appreciated their attention and care in the design. There is an incredible nurse log lining the edge of a couple of the sites with long time trees.
Cutest little place! Our spot was perfect. It was nice and roomy. We loved the chickens, ducks and turkey running around. Rune and Cheryl were so nice and helpful too!! My daughter and I will absolutely be back!
Nice spot near camano island.
Nice spot near Camano island. Good for kids with the animals on property. Clean toilet, nice communal fire pit if you’re lucky enough to not have a burn ban! The fresh eggs and flowers are great too!
The place is really nice! There is a beautiful shared area and our campsite was surrounded by trees (which I love). The only con IMO is that our campsite (#3) was right by a major road. You can hear cars driving by all night. Other than that— great campsite!
We stopped here on our way to the San Juans as it was *perfectly* situated off the 5, and it did not disappoint. They have a bonafide tent set up, with up to 4 spots and ample privacy. One spot even had a yurt! Access to a bathroom (porte-pot) was provided, as well as access to a communal spot w/ picnic tables, and water pump. Rune and Cheryl were great to talk to, very communicative before/during our stay, and so it was much appreciated. Highly recommend!
Rune and Cheryl were very friendly. They have ducks, chickens, dogs and a turkey that love to come visit. It's a bit overwhelming when the turkey didn't leave our camp all day, but he never hurt anyone. My grandson was able to run in the sprinkler. Camp site #6 is the place to be.
We (dad and two young kids) had a wonderful time at Cheryl & Rune's place. It's a large, beautiful property filled with woods, gardens, and small farm equipment. We loved wandering around there exploring, and the animals were a big hit with the kids.
The tent sites are set well apart for privacy, and are level.
The hosts were very warm and welcoming. Overall a great getaway.
It was a great experience at Rune & Cheryl P.’s Land. They were really helpful and communicative with all small details. There is one small things that people should keep in mind while booking is, the deeper you go into woods for tent site, there are more likely chance of vehicle noise passing through whole night.
