If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We stayed here in late October. Maria was super friendly and helpful. Camped in our Van. Even though we had recently had a lot of rain we had no problem driving onto their field. Had electricity.. Would stay here again.
Idyllic farm and with quirks
i would definitely stay here again. here are some things i noted which could be helpful to others —
beautiful, quiet, and unique. there were farm animals, fun structures, it was off the beaten path and we slept in a tent on a soft but if grass. we brought our dogs (kept on a leash). i’m not sure if there is a place to let dogs off leash, but it was nice to be able to bring them nonetheless.
the listing says there is a bathroom, but we couldn’t find it/weren’t too concerned (didn’t ask host).
finding the house was a little tricky as the cones weren’t visible and once we were there, we couldn’t figure out where to setup. thankfully, maria met us and showed us and she was really nice.
the space felt safe and was eclectic which is something we enjoy when staying at hipcamps. the general setup and knowing where to go/what to do was a little confusing, but all and all, it’s a quirky little place with a hose and some electricity so that’s better than many others i’ve stayed at!
They were ncredibly hospitable and generous hosts. The setting is beautiful, and there are many plants and animals to observe. It is a very convenient location to many excursions. Although it is conveniently close to I5, it is very quiet at night, no traffic sounds at all.
Easy to find and good spot to camp.
Great place to camp. It felt private as there were only a few others there. This would definitely be a fun place to have 10 or so groups. Water is easily available. Bathroom is in the main house at the front of the driveway and shared.
Definitely not your typical RV park! Great for boondocking. There are a few spots with 30 amp power and maybe water? We hooked up to 30 amp. He's just getting started and his ideas for the site sound great. We enjoyed our visit and the alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep and pig were fun to visit.
Beautiful farm camp
This was a great little farm. Very beautiful, peaceful. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Attentive but gives plenty of space. Lots of beautiful farm animals.
