Unicorn Meadow was terrific! We had a group of 13 with 7 adults and 6 kids under 8 years old and we had plenty of room for 3 tents and a travel trailer. There is an outhouse at the campsite that the owner cleans out each day. The outhouse is extremely clean. The owners have many farm animals the kids love going to the farm to check out the animals. The owner provides water at arrival and fills it if needed. The owner provided a fire pit and firewood. There is a great park across the street to access the Hood Canal. We brought our kayaks and found it very easy to launch our kayaks at the park. Watch the tides though you need to return to the launch area before low tide. Drive careful on NE North Shore Road as the road is narrow and curvy with many walkers on the road. Thank you for the great weekend!

This was our first booking through Hipcamp and we couldn’t have asked for a better location and host! We had plenty of room! We had the space to put out the corn hole boards, complete privacy between the campsites. Greg shared the history of the apple trees and the land! Getting to pet some baby goats was an added bonus! Greg made sure we had plenty of clean water, and kept the compost outhouse clean and stocked with mountain money (toilet paper), hand sanitizer and wood chips to help with the smell! Great location! Thank you Greg for the amazing weekend!

We had a really pleasant two night stay at Unicorn Meadow. It was a great campsite with plenty of space, clean water, and far enough from other sites to feel very private.

Greg was friendly and super helpful. We arrived after dark and he still met us and walked us to the campsite. It was fun to see all the animals on his family farm, especially the goats.

One small note, the farm noises like roosters and dogs barking are audible from the campsite, so if you prefer perfectly quiet camping, keep that in mind.

Thanks Greg for hosting we had a great time!

Hands down the best Hipcamp experience of all time!
Right when we entered Greg's property, we were greeted by him and his heart-melting baby goats! Greg was very kind to take us to our site and brought a 5-gallon water tank for us to use.

The campsite assigned to us was incredibly spacious and private. It's a big cleared circle among a wooded area, big enough to fit 3-4 RVs or 6-8 tents. There were 4 of us, one campervan, one car and one tent, so we had more than enough space. The other sites next to us were far enough away we wouldn't even notice if there were others camping in them.

I would highly recommend this site to anyone who plans to do some watersports (kayaking or SUP) or oyster harvesting while you are there. 5 mins walk from our campsite there was access to a public waterfront park with a public oyster bed! We ended up spending a lot of time there, having fun in clean sea water, hunting for oysters and watching the stunning sunset!!! It really could not have been any better!

There was more than enough water for us to use, a very clean composting toilet and wonderful conversations with Greg. We also got to meet some of his children who were also very nice and sweet.

All in all, this is a place we are already thinking of going back to. Highly recommend!

This place was so much better than they advertised. It was a super easy walk to the beach with lovely weather. They had amazing farm animals that they allowed us to play with, Pet and learn about. The baby goats were especially very sweet. Everyone was so welcoming and informative about all the nature around us. We had the absolute best Father's Day weekend at this property and will 100% be going back

My group of ten people stayed at one of the newer sites, which had a fire pit and a picnic table, and plenty of space in the surrounding forest to pitch a tent. Greg was extremely helpful and friendly in setting us up at the site, making sure we knew where everything was and giving us some background on the area. He went the extra mile in clearing our compost outhouse and in bringing us an awning to help shield from the rain. This is a great site if you have a large group, and as long as you are willing to drive a bit there are some good hikes nearby as well.
