Mineral Park Campground has East and West campsite options at Mineral Park, which side will you be on?! Both areas are perfect for tents and trailers and offer the ultimate luxury: restrooms. The entire campground is BYOW (bring your own water) and is best suited to tents and smaller trailers. It’s located almost 14 miles down a gravel road that will put you right in the thick of the gorgeous Cascade Mountain Range. From here you’ll have easy access to the Skagit Wild & Scenic River System, North Cascade National Park and Mt. Baker’s amazing trail system.

Stayed August 12-14, 2016, in the west campground. The campground is very secluded and the sites have a lot of privacy. The river noise is a nice background that blocks out any other neighbor noises. The flies were pretty bad during the afternoon and evening, so consider bringing a screened tent to cover the picnic table. Heed the warning about limited accessibility to anything larger than a small trailer. You need to bring your own water or a way to treat river water.
