If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We stayed at the HOH river campsites for 3 nights. It was quiet and private. During the days we went to a couple of beaches and to the HOH rainforest. Reasonably close to all of these activities. Loved the 2 clear star filled nights we had. Campsites were clean and well maintained.
Will certainly recommend this hip camp to friends.
Wonderful weekend getaway
Excellent location close to the river. The campsites are large, clean and far enough away from other campsites. Dan and Maggie were great hosts and informed us about the property and provided a bundle of firewood. Would definitely enjoy coming back to this location again.
Best non-dispersed site ever.
My wife and I love to camp in dispersed areas and fell in love with this side of the peninsula when we moved here 14 years ago. This scratches that itch, with the added features of SAFETY and a guaranteed spot after a three hour drive. It has two outhouses, super private camp spots that are far apart, safety, easy and tons of river access with a great back channel you could play all day in, gracious hosts, and a great vibe. I can't emphasize every one of those things enough. We got to Ruby with only 3 cars in the parking lot because of how close we were and we got to 4th beach with only 4 cars the next morning.
Other campers seemed respectful and nobody was loud past 1100. We were probably the loudest in the morning at about 7 or 8. I can't recommend this place enough and look forward to more visits.
Loved our stay!
We had a great time at the Hoh River Campsites. Maggie and Dan are wonderful hosts. Our campsite was quiet. The camp is well maintained and clean. Their directions were perfect. We loved walking our dog on all the trails and walking along the river bank. It is a great location for visiting the coast.
We will definitely come back.!
Peaceful, secluded campsite
Dan and Maggie's campsite was awesome for our small family gathering. We had enough space to set up badminton, our tent and a few campers. We enjoyed walking to the river and just taking in the solitude. We can't wait to come back when it's safe have a campfire!
