Stay at Kodama Farm right next to a few of our Nigerian Dwarf goats! Explore our little regenerative farm and flower gardens, walk through our tropical geodesic dome greenhouse, and wake up to the crow of our roosters. We are located 6 miles south of "downtown" Chimacum which is the home to the Chimacum Corner Farmstand (the best natural foods/organic grocery store in the world), and Finnriver Farm and Cidery (a lovely family-friendly place!). Our farm is a convenient spot to launch off of for your Olympic National Park adventure! There are some insanely beautiful hikes nearby and we are about 2 1/2 hours away from the coast. We are right off the main highway which means you will unfortunately hear some car noise mixed in with the birds, goats, and chickens, but bring some musical instruments and you won't notice a thing! We have a farm stand open on our porch Fridays and Saturdays where you can buy produce, eggs, goat-milk soap, and pottery.

Our campsite is a grassy patch down in the valley nestled under a large spruce tree next to a goat pasture. If our male goat is in that pasture, you may get occasional goaty smells, but that is just part of the farm life :) We have a picnic table, chairs, fire pit, electrical outlets, and a porta-potty available a short walk away for campers to use. Your campsite is the only one on the property. You may see us farmers going about our daily tasks, but we will make sure you have your privacy.

The farm is super cute and our hostess did a nice job of sustainable options for garbage, compost and so forth. There’s a porta potty that is serviced and super clean and a wash station. There’s also power hookup and plenty of places to sit. Near the campfire pit. Camping next to goats are a bit stinky (not bad at all) so that’s something to be aware of and there isn’t much privacy although there is bamboo and apple trees to make you feel a bit more private.. The highway noise is the biggest detractor so if you are a light sleeper this might not be for you. We will likely book again 😊

Beautiful farm property, with gorgeous apple trees, bamboo grove, huge spruce tree and misty mountains. Friendly people, dogs and goats make this spot a sweet gem. Thanks to the wonderful hosts who set up the wooden picnic table, comfy chairs and loungers! I’ll be back for sure!

Really cute camping site that my family and I enjoyed. Clean toilet, nice touch with table and chairs and good jumping off point for Olympic National Park adventures. We enjoyed the animals too although you have to be ok with an early morning wake up by the roosters:)

On arrival, there were flowers on the table and two goats staring at me. In the goat's defense, I was on a motorcycle. To them, I very well could have been from another planet. After looking over my home for the evening, and with ground as smooth as the top of a loaf of cobblestone bread, the tent was pitched. There were two wooden lounge chairs ready for a pad and sleeping bag. Though tempting, I would recommend a tent. The farm, as all healthy farms should, seemed to have a vibrant insect ecosystem.

Walking around at sunset was quite nice. A picture worth a thousand words kind of way to wind down the evening. With a burn ban in effect, a fire was not possible. This was disappointing because the fire pit was very well appointed. As Sani-cans go, the one on offer was perhaps the cleanest and most luxurious I have ever used. It's was the little touches like lavender hand sanitizer and the fact it was extraordinarily clean.

The site felt totally safe, never being out of earshot of the highway and all. I will be back. But next time, I will make sure the rooster gets my wake-up call correct. He was 45 minutes early.

This is a cute camping spot on a small farm with animals and gardens to admire. If you need a quick country fix, this is your place! I was given a lot of privacy and ample time to stay at the site. You must really love goats as the campsite is right next to the boys so hopefully you are okay with their fragrance! This spot is right next to the highway which quieted down quite a bit at night. Finn River is just down the road for a delicious meal and drink.
